kuoch Posted May 7, 2010 Author Report Posted May 7, 2010 Theres tons of way snipers can die, I'll do the list for you; LK: They have more than 300k hp default, let alone they can do tons of damage with bowling bash. All they have to do is spam bowling bash on us, and while they spam it on snipers, we're taking 2x the damage since we have no shield on. Leaving us spamming tons of yggs. Sinx: Sinx can easily kill us to, but only if they're a experience/smart sinx. They can easily SB us, or get really close and double dagger us, which also leaving us to spamm yggs Ninjas: All they have to do is spam reverse tatami and we can't hit them. Let alone they have other annoying skills. Clowns/Gyspies: They are able to spam AV and Tarot, like we'll either take 5-8k each AV's or get coma taroted. Let alone they are able to have a shield on while doing it, giving them a good offense and defense. Creators: Have AD, mammonite, cold bolt, if played right, it's a pretty decent class. Champions: That's pretty self explainatory, no need for me to get into that. The list goes on, pretty much, every has a good offense and defense. Leaving sniper at a really low disadvantage. It either we give sniper a boost on a better offense so that they can do a ton more dmg on people who has shields on, or give them a defense. I myself want to give them a better offense. But that my opinion.

Anarii Posted May 8, 2010 Report Posted May 8, 2010 (edited) I'd suggest a shield[1] with probably a +10% damage recieved effect, something like that since they are near useless against profs/wiz/ninja (using a bow atleast..). I say give them a boost in damage so that they're stronger, or give them reducts for defense. We gave WS a buff when they were low on offense, why can't we give Snipers a boost when they're low on both?

Ethereal Posted May 9, 2010 Report Posted May 9, 2010 I don't see how a "Thanatos-effect" bow will help that much. If people are going to use skolls, then you're resolved to use Incantation Samurai, and the damage will still be the same.
supream Posted May 9, 2010 Report Posted May 9, 2010 snipers can beat sinx with there super traps. just because they backslide dosent mean they can move around. pallies with their defender makes them useless. champs yea. hw even fight if u keep using arrow repel. if not meteor kill. same with scholars. ninjas, not even clowns can kill them easily. lks can be killed somehow with snipers. they can kill stalkers to same as with sinx, just wear gr and immunes. high priests cant do anything unless they are link so just use ranged dispell. clowns, impossible to beat them with sniper unless u get lucky.gs, yea basicly that class sucks with its hp so easy kill.

zac Posted May 11, 2010 Report Posted May 11, 2010 snipers were good the way they are on low rates of course, but this is a high rates dude, alot of variables have changed and things became rather unbalanced. so somethign has to be changed with sniper, and i think it should be defence or attack. snipers are the under dogs no matter what you say bankai.
