Genesis Posted January 9, 2008 Report Posted January 9, 2008 This is a high rate, most high rates have yggs which are used as healing items, now that you cannot @storage in PvP it should demand players to find a balance between ygg capacity,damage and hit. PS: Low rates are almost the same, instead of yggs they use potions which heal them quite a bit.

I know what u mean Gen but people just dont seem to know wat a real duel is... they ask u "Wanna duel?" sure... couple of hits n then ygg n then i die... n on top of that i get called a noob too wich makes me even angrier.. im not sayin to change anything im just letting people know wat a real duel is...

It's just the way people see duels here, your definition of duel just differs from them, nothing else. If at any, I'd recommend you to fight with yggs. They are not abusive, they just bring a new level to the duel. If, let's say, your enemy's build has the upper hand in the fight, yggs will help you have more chance to come up victorious. For example, it's quite hard to battle SB sinx's without yggs, since they can, most likely, kill you in one or two hits. Yggs would give you an actual chance to battle them, if you were to survive one of their SBs. I say this from experience. I used to complain about yggs as you do right now. After I experienced battling using yggs, I discovered that they are not a definite win, but just another variable in the fight.

Keeping yourself to your own principals also gives respect (at least I get it more and more) and people will see fighting without yggs more like a challenge too. If you can't win stay out of PvP, they will ygg anyway, prove yourself usefull in those events and show them what you got in there. PvP is a waste of time if you know how to play generally, if you need to improve your tactics and class knowledge just analyse other players their fighting styles, ask things and just experiment. When I first came here I got raped and almost litterly cried that ygging was noob, it's just how they fight. After some guild events and a few times Team LMS people really respect your way of playing. If you can make the others waste yggs when you don't, you can't wait how many they waste when you do ygg =).

geldaz Posted January 14, 2008 Report Posted January 14, 2008 In my opinion,your complaining about yggs because EITHER You dont got money to get yggs or you cant spam fast enough to survive. Your a ranged class,its not like you need yggs alot. All snipers do is detect,ds ds ds (or normal hit) and charge back.. This is not to all snipers. Considering that L2aim is the best sniper i've ever found ,and he uses alot of skills. In iRO we dont use Yggs considering its to time consuming to get them,and LKs dont have more than 19k hp without berserk.Although we use White potions,as refered up there. Learn your ways to fight.Myself and other people can beat others without using a single berry. You just gotta get stronger.Everyone was a noob once too. And canceling storage in pvp and lms just rocks. :) Now its all about your dmg,and your timing on berrying. o.o (dont take this as a flaming post..Thats just my opinion >.>) *hugs* Cold Ashes
L2Aim Posted January 14, 2008 Report Posted January 14, 2008 They should respect snipers, would solve a lot of problems (for me that is ;) ) and the sniping classes should learn to: hide, arrow shower, trap, trap + arrowshower, charge arrow, trap yourself, and more trapping, yes they got the skill and yes it's VERY useful. Other than that, more people should go to non-pot and then also don't pot ;) And ashes, I was the 'best' sniper, I quit =) Why? The KoS made me sick, no matter what I do, they always get more friends.

Also one of the best players getting help is sad, period.

Even if ppl die they can come back ressed and fight against you until your ygg are gone or else xD
