Change The Delay Of Strip

Recommended Posts

I don't really mean about making it less time or anything, I just want that dex doesn't make strip last less,

I have tryed to strip Gypsies/Clowns/Stalkers and When I finally make it, I see that in 3-4 seconds

they can have their equips back.

So if you're no a stalker you need to melee all over again, so this would make magic classes even more

underpower vs dex users, just because they will just re-equip the gtb again after the pretty long time strip,

so what I want to say is that dex shouldn't make the delay of strip less, make it the same that other classes

or do that the dex users needs atleasy 20 seconds to equip their headgears so It atleast would be fair.

The OP means lengthen the duration of strip (especially on high dex classes like gypsies and clowns), not shorten it.

I disagree. I currently play gypsy and I love the fact that with a high amount of base dex, the amount of strip is reduced to literally 0 for me. I'm not disagreeing just because I like it; but I do feel like it gives the gypsy/clown/sniper/any class with high DEX an advantage.

Strip is a deadly tool; even in the scariest of situations. I don't see how this makes magic classes more "underpowered." Yes, the magic classes are definitely blocked by a card called GTB Card, but every set of classes has their disadvantages and their advantages. Magic classes are EXTREMELY deadly if the other user is not using GTB. Stalkers always have different strategies as to countering clowns & gypsies and other high-dexed classes. It's not always about the strip.

Also, if this suggestion does happen; think about snipers. They're probably one of the most under-used classes (at least, in my opinion) because of the fact that they lost the ability to use long-ranged strip. You claim the amount of DEX reducing strip-time underpowers the magic classes? Look at the sniper class.

The only real problem is Clown/Gypsy, but I still disagree. High DEX classes aside from those two don't need to be stripped, GS/Sniper/Bow Stalkers use 2 handed weapons.

And this. (:

I disagree also, stripping is NOT the only option for Stalkers. You can go Bowling Bash Stalker Build ( Str/Dex base ), Matyr Reckoning Build ( Vit base ) and even AB Build ( Int Base ). I, favour a Matyr Reckoning stalker build cause they could kick ass at long range(or short range, I am not sure anymore )

Disagree. Stalkers nowadays can do something else aside from strip anyway.

the main problem with gypsies and clowns are that they can wear shield and use ranged attacks that are strong. but if u use shield they wont likely be able to kill u just using av alone unless they have thana or something. this is were tarrot comes in and the annoying coma. they already disabled the warp card so thats not as annoying. but the coma thing is funny. maybe to make it better if people think they are a over powerd class. take away the attack reducing card so players can still do their max dmg not having to worry about ranged coma and damage reduction for 3 min.

Uh, where is this topic going to? This isn't a discussion board whether gypsies/clowns are "overpowered," it's about changing the delay of strip.

But I'll be glad to disagree with you that gypsies/clowns are not OP. In my opinion, they're one of most tactical/diverse classes out there. Yes, their AV's are strong and they wear a shield, but so do other classes. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you main a lord knight, no? Their attacks are deadly and they wear a shield as well (if they choose to.) The Tarot Card of Fate has got to be one of the most useful skills out there. I understand that it's annoying and everything, but it's one of the things that make gypsies and clowns useful and unique. Why take away the attack reduction card? Quite frankly, I love the fact that it's there. After all, gypsies/clowns are a ranged class and want to take as little damage as possible. If players experience attack reduction, then they just have to use their own strategies and other ways to fight them.

^ I totally Agree.

Hm my lk got stripped the other day and it lasted for a good two minutes (i dont know how i survived) but i think its pretty fair how it is especially since a lot of people have fcp anyways.

edit* yeah clowns are way too hard to kill. all they have to do is freeze or stone you and then spam the tarot till they get coma or break your armor, o and did i mention dispel. All of these skills really screw u over considering their hp is usually higher than my lks (i dont have a tao) besides most of them can kill u by spamming that skill they got. Anyways it just sucks that when i beat someone all they do is go get their clown and tarot me to death. And even if gtb blocks it u still take insane damage from the arrow shower or w/e that skill is. sorry to get off subject it just kinda pisses me off i was wondering why every1 was playing with a clown now.

Back to stalkers. I think they are pretty fair how they are i rarely use my stalker but when i do i almost never divest anyways. If you know your skills and have a good build and some decent equips you can kill most classes. I think divest is only really good against people with a lot of damage redux and gtb, or insane amounts of health, but even if u strip them they have to re-equip their gear which should give you enough time to kill them.

On a side note it would be nice if stalkers had more hp.

Since almost everyone agrees, the delay of strip won't be changed. Especially now, stalkers do not need to rely solely on strip. It's not really necessary to change, and I think it's nice it gives dex-based classes a bit of help as well.
