orientalcircus Posted January 6, 2008 Report Posted January 6, 2008 Hey. I downloaded kro and sak yesterday (fully patched them) and then the forsaken ro patcher. When I logged in the floor was black! There is another server I used to play and logged in there and the same thing happend--the floor was black too. So today I downloaded forsaken's full client and I still get the same thing. Here's a sample: However when I enter a shop or am indoors I see the floor but there will be a little black on the walls or something. I'm using a everex laptop and have windows vista. Does any one know a solution to this? Thanks for any help!
Amalgamation Posted January 6, 2008 Report Posted January 6, 2008 It might just be Windows Vista. Either that or your video cards. I'm not exactly sure how to fix this, I'll get an admin to look at it.

L2Aim Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 To prevent future problems like this get your graphic card driver and DirectX and OpenGL drivers updated (updating never hurts). It's your graphic card having problems with the cache, therefore it uses white or black as the maincolor for the ground. The other 2D sprited objects are still read from your GRF files and therefore stay normal.
