Clasian Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 I think we should consider that there should be some type of penalty when an Assassin Cross dual wields a weapon (not Katars). -.-OMFG NO WAY MAN!-.- Well it has got to happen some day. Or somehow that SinX's get toned down a little. ie. reduces damage % by a set amount, reduces W.Atk However at the same time still more beneficial than using a single dagger. So what I'm implying is to tone down the damage capabilities by a notch, at the same time still doing more damage/efficient (interms of damage)than single dagger/weapon. Other examples: Disabling D.Atk or reduced level of D.Atk

You can do like 2k with the main hand, then 600 on the off-hand. Of course, that's just an example, and yes, most sinx will do more damage than that. However, nerfing it more...I think I'd have to disagree. I think that this is fine as is.

no1i Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 (edited) Disagree, when they switch to DD they do high damage but also receive high damage back and also most classes can wear shields so it reduces the DD damage as well. And well as Rayna said if they switch to 1h weapon they will do less damage. Another thing, when they go DD they are vulnerable to coma effects. tat 4 u d0nd0n! tat 4 u! Rayray Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 Sinx can still hit 16k with one dagger anyway, and forcing sinx to use shields is the last thing we need. That won't make them vulnerable, it might just make them more annoying since they do have high hp pool.

Sensation Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 If you want to lower the damage bonus they have, a possible suggestion could be to lower the amount of extra damage they gain from EDP and/or lowering their health pool.

Giving them another penalty on using an secondary weapon beats the entire advantage that they should have by being able to wear 2 weapons. They already miss an shield this way that's bad enough in my opinion.
