Back to the Topic: Magikarp evolves to Garados (Idk if you call it like that =]) and it will be one of the best Pokemon later. And Mudkipz is just a starting Pokemon ( I like to use always the starting Pokemon, they are one of the strongest in my opinion and I wish it would be pssible to earn the others too.) I prefer to use the Plant Pokemon because there are few good ones later that you can catch. Otherwise the Fire Pokemon is always the strongest of the first 3 "starterpack".
