Masahiro Posted December 21, 2009 Report Posted December 21, 2009 okay before we begin, im not ever on forums, so dont expect me to be replying to this often ive been playing this server since it started, nd im tired of seeing new people come to f.ro nd get treated like dirt its sriusly sickening to see fully geared players now, just mow over new players in any pvp enabled map as if they were cattle firstly because of the super high overpowered mvps fro and Ro beginners in general have such little hope of firstly killing the mvp themselves without the added pressure of a geared player rolling in and Ksing their mvp, PKing them in the process to the point of frustration then laughing at them when they complain. my first suggestion is making this server a bit more mvp friendly, you dont have to make mvps back to their original but Half their current difficulty, its hilarious to mvp now, the chance drop is fine 10% and all 0.01tha, etc but if you think how hard it would be for these ppl to mvp the chance of them even seeing a card is ridiculously low which leads to the fact that their only option now is to farm (or donate lol) 2ndly no matter how u cut it, slice it, dice it....our customs are weak the all might f.king parts pwn anything elite lol, a suggestion is to pump up the quest difficulty in making an elite set make it super long or something, but instead make it a bit more effective and closer to donation items this way players who are hardworking can actually work towards getting these items to be effective in pvp, while those who prefer a quick means of getting better can just donate or w/e amistr hat? lol? "look its a nub, lets go gang him!" (not liek any of us by ourselves cudnt finish him off solo anyways lol on a side note, next time u see a nub and he asks u for help and u refer him to forum guides.... look for it yourself first and tell him if its there lol FIX THE FORUMS! (re-add info from the old forums or w/e) nd this will probably get over looked laughed at criticized laughed at some more ignored... i at least thought i should start a discussion on this or w/e OH! and make pvp doner room into 2 modes : ygg allowed and ygg not allowed =] ;) why yes frightening isnt it oh emm gee u may have to pvp tactically now QQ! I can't give an opinion on MVPs, because I haven't killed any MVPs yet (still kinda new to the server and just now maxing out my character's base and job and working on the Elite Quest). I agree that it's sad to see veteran players treat new players like shit. I've been treated pretty badly myself. I've had people repeatedly kill me on maps where I'm just trying to collect items to make a nice headgear or convert said items into tickets so I might make some money to get me some nice gears (since I can't donate much, with being out of work on maternity leave). I agree and disagree with your idea on the Elite/Forsaken equip sets. I'd like to see the stats of the items more equal, but if you increased the difficulty of the quest any more, it would take someone like me (who is going to be a first time mother in a day) months to finish it (especially since you have to complete the Elite quest twice to get the 200 stat points and the equip set). I guess my point is that why should a player get more powerful equips for shelling out money than the player who puts in time and effort questing for it? I realize that donations keep the server running, but the gap between donor and non-donor never seemed totally fair in my eyes. As far as Ygg Berries go, I'm with you 100%. I think that it'd be a nice challenge for players to have a room where no healing items were allowed. That way, the players would have to rely on skill alone rather than who runs out of berries first. Good idea.

gtx0032 Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 i guess im pretty lucky to be playing at a different timeslot where most of the assholes are Off line. now regarding MVP thing ALWAYS remember that the player who did the MOST DAMAGE regardless if a whole guild took on one MVP the loot still goes to the guy who did damage the most. KS will not deliberately result to getting the loot with MVPs. So be early and try to do the most damage ASAP. It's pretty easy with a sniper with the right arrows and buffs. Hell I started with no equips and did GR, Bapho and Angeling and worked my way up. Do not go with FBH, Gloom and Tao as everyone hunts for them. Try hunting for lesser MVPs and just be patient for the reward (TIP: MVP LoD and RSX for ice pic and card). Or better yet just make a professor and try your luck summoning MVPs at your convenience. Choose a place and MVP all the way. Definitely no KS there. But definitely random boss so be ready! Regarding customs i believe they're pretty fair and balanced and that 2 slotted equips are pretty uber already IMO. And people are working hard to do more custom stuff for us players. Im no pro-admin here but i think GM/admin have been doing a good job and that so far everything looks balanced (well since everyone has uber equips so no one's bullying atm). Its just thats snob players are there and its their preference to pester and degrade other players.
Masahiro Posted January 3, 2010 Author Report Posted January 3, 2010 (edited) hahah, i randomly rememberd this today and came to check up on it, im glad its gotten responces and yeah, its just a viewpoint, things were just thrown there for debate, ./grats at Rinn bcuz u shud have ur baby by now and also @gtx i just ment the whole experience, bcuz if ur clever, tricky or just normal, u can still pull through, i just ment its frustrating for most..me personally i dnt have a hard time at all..but im Very geared lol. im just speaking for those who dont speak for themselves and also yes it is true that in time you can aquire a lot, ive quit and rejoined this server at least 5x for various reasons, and ive helped ppl each time, and each time i come back and witness their progress and some amaze me, even now with their development, i just suggested these things for an easier time for some and concerning the pvp ygg thing, thats the 1 i believe id like most..though im sure ppl wouldnt use it if it was implimented anyways.. but again thanks for the replies, (i just glanced through them quickly, cuz im in a rush irl, but thanks anyways) o and Enter shikari ftw :P Edited January 3, 2010 by Masahiro

Thanks for pointing these things out for me &the others. I do agree with you &the other people who posted; on how some veteran players mistreat new comers. I was very lucky on even knowing some people that knew this server so well, that I was able to be at "average" right now. I do try my best at helping new comers, but there are times when I can't do anything. Such as times when they speak a foreign language and I'm not able to help them at all or when they need help on gears,MVPs/PVPs, &etc; I'm not able to help them because I'm still a new comer as well, I'm still getting to know things and that I'm not able to speak their language at times. I'm also in the same situation as Rinn, where people would randomly kill me, when I'm just minding my own business &collecting/farming for things or for quests. About making the MVPs a bit more friendly... I agree with you somewhat, but then I agree that we shouldn't lower it too much since some people are stronger than others, they are able to kill MVPs easier and also leading to, people obtaining MVP cards easily. (I think Rinn pointed this out.) Once again, I somewhat agree with you on pumping up the quest difficulty for an elite set, but then again how will the new comers or someone who is weaker than someone who is geared, be able to make an elite set themselves. I just don't see how that's gonna get people to get tactical in PvP and people can actually cheat on ladder unless that room doesn't count as ladder.

Rofl No Ygg then sinxs with dbl daggers, or any ranged class come and pew pew all over you...This server, rates have made it so YGGs are almost a necessity if it isn't already.
