My Build (20k~22k dmg Demoner for solo - over dmg number for party) Top Head : Kobold Arhcer Hat - LK (party) and Kobold Archer Hat - Pharaoh (solo) Mid Head : Ghost Aura - Maya Purple Low Head : Wing Armor : Sniper Armor - 2x Gloom Weapon : Sniper Bow - 3 AK 1 Minor (party) and 3 AK 1 Hunter (solo) and 3 AK 1 SK (solo) Garment : Sniper Cloak - 2x Chung E Footgear : Sniper Boots - 2x FBH Accesories : 2x F.Dex Belt Stats (STR/AGI/VIT/INT/DEX/LUK) : 25+24 / 30+85 / 130+23 / 4+25 / 300+191 / 150+4 (yes, my sniper is elite char) Notice that my sniper has high dmg but low hp, but noticably since the MvP buff-ups (that's from ~20m to now) I haven't used my sniper to hunt many MvPs because the lenght it takes to kill one (compared to Champions). I haven't fully picked out all the tweaks of it but it allows people to get some of the basic items down pat. Do you know anything I can do to make it a little more than what it already is? And never heard of a dagger and buckler on a sniper. I like long range.
Belfegor Posted November 22, 2009 Report Posted November 22, 2009 (edited) Damage tbh, isn't actually a big concern since Snipers have really sharp damage. Specially with the right arrow, depending on the weak element of a/an MVP. As for cards, everybody has to agree with a Dbl TG/Dbl Abyssmal, or 3ple Abyssmal/TG bow. What I meant by the Dagger type, is you can avoid dying everytime specially if the MVPs use spells that hurt you alot. Even with a sniper card, the chances of you dying from a massive spam of spells from MVPs is quite high. If you have the buckler GTB, will pull through. As for your damage, you can just go with the Dex, I guess. If it doesn't work, try switching your Dex belts, Forsaken or ND, with Str belts. Hmm. :o Either way, yours is still better since most players use Bow, instead of daggers. :/ Edited November 22, 2009 by Belfegor
Adum* Posted November 22, 2009 Report Posted November 22, 2009 I use F shield with gtb and I have MG with 4 LoD xD. Anyway, if you don't have money for TG's and all, you can just get a composite bow and get 2abyss and one race and one size card for the mvp, then equip the right arrow.

For that hunter card that I said before was either Sniper Card or Hunter Fly card. both has similar effect (that's to heal you when you dmg the mvp). I am biased towards Crit builds as they deliver more damage. 1. HEAD (upper, middle & lower) 3x Vanberk Card - better luck and crit than the Vesper Cards but really depends on how much is your initial crit - Question: Is the donation Blue Valkyrie Helm slotted or not? if not then I'm using: Amistr Hat - quest 3d Glasses - quest Chocolate - dunno (i just borrowed mine) * these equips add luck and crit percentage 2. ARMOR - I'll be using Forsake Armor (2 slots) so I was thinking of using: 2x Gloom or Tao / Gloom - Question: I was just wondering if the abilities stack (2x Gloom = 80%) if Yes I would push for one if not then your Tao / Observation will be used by my Sniper. 3. GARMENT - Forsaken Wool? - I'll be using: 2x Chung E - again for additional luck 4. BOOTS - Forsaken Boots - With this I'm still thinking if I'll use: 2x FBH or is there a better alternative? 5. ACCESSORY - well i have 2 non-donation dex belts already so I'll be ok with that but as an alternate i was thinking or: 2x Orleans Glove with 2x Kobold Cards - again for crit and luck 6. WEAPON - Forsaken Comp Bow: 4 slotted slayer! wew! With the weapon equips I don't know if any of those would be good for pvp but I use 1x TG/ 3x Abysmal for MvP or 1xTG/Sniper/2x Abysmal for the staying alive longer part if you're using LK card. With the Blue Valk helm, it is slotted with 2 slots ROP is okay over the middle headgear if you can afford it.

Elite Sniper Bow - 2x Abysmal // 2x Mobster Card (need SP so didnt use Paper Card) F. Elite Sniper Cloak - 2x Chung E I still have 2x Gloom, 2x Tao, 2x FBH, 1 LoD and 1 Turtle boss card to equip to other weapons (the LoD and Turtle cards will be used with another F.Elite Sniper Bow once I accuire another one). if i do then these boss cards attached to the equips will be stuck with sniper... forever... so im contemplating whether if i should get forsaken kign equips to add the boss cards so that i can switch them from time to time... what do you think sir theluffmuffin?

So it is perfectly fine to add them to the elite set because you can remove them as you need too. iRawr- As cirrus has posted, it adds 2 dex, but not really needed for sniper, just a cheaper MvP card you can buy.
gtx0032 Posted December 4, 2009 Report Posted December 4, 2009 @ luffmuffin - oh ok. didnt know that. i guess its safe to put it in my equips then. but im still hesitant. i bought a forsaken king boots and attached 1 FBH card. to my surprise it adds 15 crit points which raised my crit to 113 which is good since im learning towrads crits. although i didnt like how my SP was cut by 50%... any suggestion what other card to attach? dragon wizard, dark lord, moonlight (@_@) ?
