I dont like that rule about not using "emoticons" .__. , seriously they help a lot in expresing your mood and they dont do any bad at all as far as I know. Well about grammar and foul language that's rather obvious but still I doubt anyone will take the time to fill an aplication with such language. One Question, do formerly banned people can fill an aplication and actually have a chance?

It's not bad or anything, but it is the first impression you're giving to us. Not using emoticons in any form of an application mainly has to do with professionalism. Of course it is forbidden to use them in whispers or personal chats, but to public you should always stay professional and fair, showing your "emotions" to certain people will eventually get a label on your head; "biassed". It's rather to prevent that to happen than that we aren't allowing it. I hope this clears it that part up =)

Sensation Posted October 19, 2009 Author Report Posted October 19, 2009 About the banned players; the fact that they are banned already shows they weren't capable to follow the rules. Not everyone is perfect, but a clean sheet does give you a higher chance. Though, I believe in forgiving and would give people a second chance, depending on the offence that occurred I'd reconsider my choice if added into the application and proving they want the best for the players and the server. Same thing can apply for those who haven't done anything wrong, but are on the edge of violating the rules or abusing their position as a higher rank in guilds. As a GM you'd have a higher rank than players, but we'd like to think that everyone is equal but the GM is a player who has the media to entertain his fellow players voluntary. If you still have questions or my slightly odd explanation isn't satisfying just yet, feel free to ask.

Sensation Posted October 19, 2009 Author Report Posted October 19, 2009 The new GMs will be chosen within a 1(maybe 2) week time span, depending how difficult the choice will be. It would only be unfair to have a first come, first get system and it wouldn't bring the best results either. Everyone has an equal chance of becoming a GM if you meet the requirements and standards that are set to the application, the date or time you apply doesn't matter, as long it is before the topic is closed (done automatically this Friday at 18:00 CET/12:00 EST).
