Muffin Master Posted October 20, 2009 Report Posted October 20, 2009 (edited) Good luck to all the applicants! I can't wait to see what new GMs we get this time! Edited October 20, 2009 by Muffin Master
Sensation Posted October 20, 2009 Author Report Posted October 20, 2009 You guys are at 1/4 of the whole process, just try to relax and focus on the normal things in life for the upcoming week, it'll take a while to narrow it down to 5 GMs, the applications are very surprising(in a good way) so far.
gamersrule26 Posted October 20, 2009 Report Posted October 20, 2009 Looking forward to see the new GMs, I hope they'll be good ones ^_^
Daniel Rose Posted October 20, 2009 Report Posted October 20, 2009 Well all we can do is wait and be good sports about it if were not picked lol After all we all want to be a GM(myself included) but we cant all be GMs
Yuki Posted October 20, 2009 Report Posted October 20, 2009 You guys are at 1/4 of the whole process, just try to relax and focus on the normal things in life for the upcoming week, it'll take a while to narrow it down to 5 GMs, the applications are very surprising(in a good way) so far. During the time when I applied, relaxing wasn't one of the things I was very good at. I tried to do normal things like I usually did, but I always became so anxious whenever the thought of GM applications came into mind. Probably after a week or so, I started to refresh my e-mail in-box around every 10-20 minutes. A very bad habit of mine, but I'll live. I've heard that we've had really great applications lately! I can't wait to hear about more.
Wish Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 True. Relaxing doesn't come very easily when you are hoping with all your might for something. However, it is best to try. Go out into nature, take up yoga, read a book, comune with squirrels as they're getting ready for hibernation. Anything to help!
Daniel Rose Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 Go out into nature, take up yoga, read a book, comune with squirrels as they're getting ready for hibernation. Anything to help! LOL Wish.... Well I agree with your methods but its funny to read ^_^ But yeah patience is a virtue so remember waiting for the results isnt reason to :suicide_anim:

Sensation Posted October 21, 2009 Author Report Posted October 21, 2009 Go see some movies, there won't be any reply till at least 29 October as if I can keep up with college, the new GMs will be known 30 October and presented 31 October.

Well I agree with your methods but its funny to read ^_^ But yeah patience is a virtue so remember waiting for the results isnt reason to :suicide_anim: Yeah, they'd work. Especially communing with squirrels. They talk so quickly that you don't have time to think about anything else. ;3 Omg.... Youre right, that how i feel right now. :( What should i do? LOL. Go into nature and take up yoga, or talk to squirrels. Unless, of course, you WANT to go see a movie instead of that. Personally, I'd take the squirrels over a movie any day. Muffin Master Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 (edited) I might conider the squirrels. I have one in the tree in my front yard. xD Edited October 22, 2009 by Muffin Master
Nadtorious Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 Let's all be patience and be prepared. For me, I treat this as a surprise from all GMs. or A Gift from all the GMs, we either receive it or not. If we didn't get the job then at least we did our best and tried. ^_^
Daniel Rose Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 (edited) <3 thanks for quoting me Wish!!!! and if the date is October 30th then thats not to bad so many things you can do to pass the time like actually playing Forsaken RO, reading, TV, Video games besides RO, music and much much more so im sure were all able to make it right? Devotion Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 I still have my acceptance email saved in my hotmail account. And when I first read it I tried so hard to contain my excitement, but when I got downstairs it didn't work and I wiggled and danced, and my mom had no idea what I was talking about when I said "I'm a Game Master OMG!" I still remember my group: Athena, Lithium, Dragon, Tidus, Tinman and myself. The first month was hellish; players were just really rough about it. And then it slowly cleared up and I guarantee you if this type of work is right for you you'll find your nice place in the team and feel very comfortable. I'll also be the one training all you newbies with Shield and Sensation, especially if you're chosen on a weekend. I don't bite...hard. I look forward to that :)
Wish Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 (edited) Ahaha, I agree with that feeling. I stared at my email for a good 5 minutes before I registered it, then I started spazzing... Don't bite hard...? I'm still missing a chunk. /sob Edited October 22, 2009 by Wish
Yuki Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 Here's a little piece of advice from me to all applicants: try to start coming up with a GM name if you haven't come up with one yet. You wouldn't want to be getting an e-mail and then spending hours trying to come up with a name. Also, if you get an e-mail, I think you have to respond within the next 24 hours, or else you won't get the job. So probably after a week or so, you might want to start checking daily or more. One more thing... applications end tomorrow!
gamersrule26 Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 That one day reply thing sucks ):
Luxiana Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 here's a good luck from me for you all, too <3 its gonna be fun seeing new gms n__n!
Wish Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 I don't believe it's one day. I think that you have up to a week to reply.
Sensation Posted October 23, 2009 Author Report Posted October 23, 2009 That one day reply thing sucks ): It would be awkward if you'd be available every day for a set amount of time, but not able to read your mails when you want to get the job. Anyway, it'll be a few days, not one.
Daniel Rose Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 were getting close to the day XD 8 more days
