Dex Dagger Sinx Guide

Recommended Posts

Welcome to my guide for all you people seeking help for a decent sinx build. I'll try and outline everything as good as I can. Now, skipping all introductory details, lets get down to business.

Index
  • Overview
  • Pros and Cons
  • Applying your stats
  • Gearing up

Overview
Dex dagger sinx's make up the majority of sinx users and maybe even the majority of the server itself. They rely on the dex that you use to get instant cast combined with the effect of Phreeoni(s) to achieve 500 hit or more in order to hit other players.

Pros and Cons
Pros :
  • Good damage.
  • Able to switch from shield and dagger to double dagger.
  • Have a wide variety of weapons.
  • 8 slots; more slots, more combo possibilities.
  • Without needing too much str to do good damage, more HP.

Cons :
  • Take heavy damage when going double dagger.
  • Can't use lvl 10 Sonic Blow.

As you can see, pros outweigh the cons, thus many people choose to play this class.

Applying your stats
Alright, here's where a lot of people think they have special, but actually don't. Many of the builds are the same since you can't really change it to be your own unless you're a sinx that uses Soul Breaker as his/her main skill. However, those are considered a myth here in Forsaken.

High Str/Low HP build
This build will allow you to hit high damage. Using double daggers against an opponent with no shield on will be having them hurting bad. Like 35k+ bad. 35k+ hits with double attack putting it up to 70k, and at 195 aspd is very deadly. However, you yourself are vulnerable also with the low HP, at about 220k with 1 Tao Gunka card. Majority of people in this build go double STR belts.

Str : 280+
Agi : Enough for 195 ASPD. Add this after Dex.
Vit : Leftovers.
Int : None.
Dex : Enough for instant cast.(150 total ex. 136+14)
Luk : None.

Str/Vit Hybrid Build
This build is stable in both damage, and in HP. Using double daggers against an opponent with no shield will be putting you at 25k~28k. Maybe even 30k depending on what you two are wearing. With 1 Tao Gunka, you'll be having about 280k~300k HP. The majority of Forsaken is suspected to be using this build. This build works best with double Mix A. Mix A gives less Str than a Str belt, thus requiring you to use more STR. More STR means you can carry more berries, meaning you may be able to fight longer.

Str : 250~260ish. You want your ATK to be about 1800 with one dagger on.
Agi : Enough for 195 ASPD. Add after Dex.
Vit : Leftovers.
Int : None.
Dex : Enough for instant cast.
Luk : None.

Vit whore Build
This build puts you at a low damage factor, but high in HP. Double daggers against an unshielded opponent may have you doing about 20k~22k on them. With 1 Tao you may have about 330~350k HP, maybe even higher. This build works best with double Mix A.

Str : 220~230. Have your ATK at about 1500~1600 with one dagger on.
Agi : Enough for 195 ASPD, add after Dex.
Vit : Leftovers.
Int : None.
Dex : Enough for instant cast.
Luk : None.

These are the builds that the majority of Forsaken uses. The only thing that changes the tide of battle is equipment and how good you are at switching between them.

Gearing Up
Equipment is incredibly vital if you are aiming to becoming a professional PvPer in the world of Forsaken, a player known as a "pro." Having the equipment will not instantly make you good though, you must be able to stay alert when in PvP enabled areas, berry accordingly and always be aware to sudden damage changes, and be able to switch between equipment while staying alive.

Here is a basic layout of what you should have :

Head : Forsaken Helm( Any cards. )
Mid : Slotted aura( Maya P. )
Bottom : Rucksack or wings.

Note : Do NOT put your Maya P in your top helm. If you lose that top helm in a strip or break, there goes your ability to see cloaked players.

Armor : Forsaken King's Armor( Ghostring + Tao Gunka // Ghostring + RSX // Double Orc Lord )
Garment : Forsaken King's Cloak( Double Skolls // Double Raydrics // Double Deviling )
Shoes : Forsaken King's Boots( Double Fallen Bishop Hibram )
Belts : Your choice depending on your build.
Main Hand : Forsaken Elite Dagger( Incantation Samurai, Phreeoni, Turtle General, Valkyrie Randgris // Incantation Samurai, Phreeoni, Turtle General, Turtle General )
Off Hand : Forsaken Elite Dagger( Turtle General, Turtle General, Skeleton Worker, Skeleton Worker // Turtle General, Turtle General, Valkyrie Randgris, Skeleton Worker // Whitesmith, Stormy Knight, Metaling, Dragoon Warlord )

That should be the majority of things you need in order to be a decent PvPer. Your default equipment you should have on is Ghostring + Tao Gunka armor, Double Skoll Cloak, and Double FBH Boots. Now about your weapons, your damage dealers. Your main hand should always be the weapon that will deal the most damage, as it will be the only one doing double attack. Your off hand can be anything from doing assisting damage, breaking/stripping and freezing, dispelling, to coma.

since there is nth u can do with the stats,

its quite obvious what should u get now.

critical gears, suggested by those who post before me would be the only thing that can make u a critical sinx now.

u mentioned youre already a sinx,

with high agi? if u already pump dex, i suggest u forget about a critical sinx. get a House Auger instead

You can change stats in this server, so you can always change your build. Also, there are Skoll cards that go in your garment that reduce your defense by 40% to reduce damage from House Auger/Ice pick.

With 2 FBH on the boots this will dramatically lowers (in fact, you will have no SP at all) your SP since FBH card decreases your max SP by 50%, how do you manage that so you can still use your skills?

From what I can see on other player's equip, they are putting Hollowring card on ther garments and F. King cloak gives certain % of SP? will the SP that you gained with this equips enough for PVPing? Thanks.

the fcloak gives the sp. well my sinx has 250 sp(probably less) which is enough to use poison react, enchant poison and enchant deadly poison. then you ygg :p

^ ya he right it gib Max SP +15% n__n

Yeah it's enough, it's much harder for when you ND PVP though, since you practically don't get any useful SP bonus. That's when Hollowring comes in, which takes a slot for a defensive card in your cloak. Some go 1 FBH/1 HP/SP card for shoes, not the max damage you can have but if you need your SP, then why not. Improvise.

For an ND Sinx though you can have 2 FBH, just have at least 100 SP for casting EDP.
