gerrard mino Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 im so sick of people getting so pissed over a mvp that you want yet they summoned i say that as long as you dont hit that mvp it shouldnt matter what you may do to the player killing it. i was banned for 5 hours because i was using pneuma on thanatos and killing the sniper. if you go fury and cant survive thats your fault do go fury dont complain to a gm and get that person banned because you cant kill that mvp. jesus people learn how to play D: leave some comments :D
*Kevin* Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 If i got it right , you are dead wrong.
Sorrow Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 Dude...if they summoned the MvP and you go about and annoy them, they can report you, and by showing proof, you get ban, sux to be you =X The sniper knows how to play; Fury is a great way to MvP with sniper, he was there to kill Thana not to fight, otherwise he'd be in the PvP arena. Asura doesn't work on Thana so you had not even reason to be there. It's not him who needs to learn how to play, it's you who needs to learn to respect other people, good thing the GM enforced that what you did was wrong. Have a nice day ^^ And since this is in sugestion topics...why don't turn PvP off in the Thana Room?
gerrard mino Posted September 30, 2009 Author Report Posted September 30, 2009 the thing that im saying is that i never touched the mvp so that cant be classified as ksing and the rules state that ksing is against the rules. so i had no reason to be banned that means that the rules are flawed and must be changed. or people cant be punished for just being annoying.
Rayna Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 I think the gms did the right thing. even if you don't consider it ksing it could still be considered harassment. as for turning pvp off on that map...it might help but it would also leave players unable to defend their mobs. but yes that sniper was effective. snipers are the best way to kill thana imo.
Ryoji Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 (edited) Well. Okay. Think of it this way. The sniper took SS's and left the mvp sit. He came back several hours later, and the mvp was now dead. You would be the last person known next to it, and you would be banned for an assumed ks'ing. The fact you went out of your way to harrass players is beyond me. You deserved to get jailed and/or banned though. You can hold the cell next to mine. It gets lonely holding a 10 year jail... And since this is in sugestion topics... why don't turn PvP off in the Thana Room? Now we're talking. Edited September 30, 2009 by Ryoji
Genesis Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 In my opinion turning off PvP in thana_boss will only make matters worse. I'm sure some people back off when they see you have decent equips ( fear of getting killed ) but if PvP is off, then there is really nothing stopping them. On the other hand, it would stop those that kill the person and then "find" the mob.
Sensation Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 Don't take this matter into the suggestion forum, you did attack that specific Thanatos and we talked about it and you accepted your punishment. It is stated in the rules that all MvPs are FFA except those who are summoned, killing the players doesn't give you the right to claim the summoned MvP, peroid, the end, that's all folks.
gerrard mino Posted September 30, 2009 Author Report Posted September 30, 2009 well i have an idea if you remove warping to thana_boss while the mvp is being summoned or while it is summoned to anyone other than the summoner or their party that would solve all the problems with ksing or anything of the sort.
Nucleus Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 You deserved the ban, period. You're an asshole for even doing something like that, and I personally think you should have been banned for way longer.
