Devotion Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 Flapping devilings error me on all but one of my legits, but only when I wear it. No amount of patching and fixing has worked. So my point is RoP may not be fixable. I'm new to ActOR, but the reference body sprite is usually a Lord Knight, and I'm just guessing here, but maybe in this particular case it doesn't compensate well for a champion's snap-asura combo. I know a really good spriter who could take a look at the acts and sprite, if there was something wrong she could figure it out, but she's very busy atm. The animation seems to play a part of the problem, so we could remove that. Or we can modify the item so that champions can't equip them. Don't worry that's a last resort. But that's all we can offer you at this time.
Millenia Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 (edited) There's more than 5 angles in total if you count the ones as you are being attacked, in attacked stance,and on movement. *Fixed typos I meant the frames, Emp aurora has 5; then 2-3 more for death. Devotion Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 The error happens when a champ does asura/TSS in close conjunction with Snap. I think the animation from the sprite and the skills overwhelms some player clients. That's also just a guess.
nines Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 The client for this server imo sucks the entire folder sucks theres a bunch of people who have problems with it...the rop error, having no fucking screenshot folder, not being able to update kro/sakray instead it brings up fro client saying no updates avail. -.- i say do a complete overhaul even though its not realted to this...kinda is i guess from devos post but yah <.<

If we knew what the problem was, we would fix it. Trust me, no one likes to hear people complain. Millenia did not make the sprite, someone from rune did she simply recolored them. The original sprite maker just completely disappeared off the map, if we can't get a hold of him we might have to just change the sprite.
