Secret Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 Its really funny to see how Irish Hat decreases price. :D Lol but I'm not interested on buying. o.O why its already Nerf ?
Yuki Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 Irish Hat still has its effects, so it has not been nerfed yet. If you want my point of view for Irish Hat, then I will give it. Personally, I do find it that it is a bit much for 40 stats. As Rahvin notified, it is an unreleased headgear. Meaning, it could be adjusted or fixed at any time, because it was never officially implemented for any quests, voting items, etc.. The major downside to it which include vulnerability to freeze. As someone notified, Stormy Knight cards have the ability to kill someone who's wearing it. Lowering its stat would be good for me.
Ryoji Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 (edited) I'm fine with this item as it is. However, I think it'll be nerfed/removed/replaced eventually. So I'd not pay for one. Lol. So many people lost money on buying nyh's to make this a worthwhile investment. If you got one, great. If not, it may not be worth your hassle. Edited September 14, 2009 by Ryoji
nines Posted September 15, 2009 Report Posted September 15, 2009 Raina thats stupid...if you thought it would stay your dumb there were vote items for 60 qpons that added 30 to all stats and get replaced to -.- its 5$ so stop qqing you can spend 10 minutes at the beach and get 5$ off of bottles its not alot <.<
Ryoji Posted September 15, 2009 Report Posted September 15, 2009 So many people have Irish Hats now, I feel that if you remove the effects now I will not trust your items and never donate again =P I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels this way. P.S. yes that was a threat so I see you're new here. or don't have the comprehension to understand complete sentences. hi2u.
Devotion Posted September 15, 2009 Report Posted September 15, 2009 The secret answer is yes, we're going to nerf them. Though why people think it's a secret confuses me since I know Genesis mentioned it in another topic. Compensation will likely not be offered, for various reasons. One of which is that people have gotten the hats because it's only five bucks for an easy 40 stats. That's why there are more now than before. Frankly, the fact that its stats was kept secret by a couple people is a bit "lame," since this issue could have been resolved before it started. Not to mention it gave an unfair advantage to a small group of players. And if anyone uses common sense, you're paying 5 dollars for an item that gives better stats than our best official gear, why wouldn't we nerf it.
sessions Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 Frankly, the fact that its stats was kept secret by a couple people is a bit "lame," since this issue could have been resolved before it started. Obviously it was kept on the DL for this very reason.. Also couldn't they [the higher ups] simply refuse to offer the Irish Hat as an unreleased headgear in the first place? That would have solved all problems; to blame the people who researched and found the item seems a little out of hand.
Genesis Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 Well, the item was never meant to have the effect that it has ( as stated in the description ) people were allowed to donate for them because they had a very nice look to them. The description did have a time limit after all, though I do understand why people would be upset.
