Introduction and Strategies

With the new eAthena SVN that we updated to a few months ago, we have a new feature. Anti-Spawn Kill.

That is where the base of the SL build is. After Kaizels Resurrection it won't interupt a SinXs melee hits, but at the same time, the anti spawn kill system will not allow you to take damage. Therefor you will still take hits, and still reflect damage. You have roughly 8 seconds until you can be hit. If you step into another cell, or use a skill though, you will begin being hit.

The way you would play reflect SL is to allow a SinX to kill you, and then resurrect. Then do not move, and do not cast a skill for about 6 seconds, then use kaizel instantly. As soon as you use kaizel you will take damage, and almost instantly resurrect. Repeat this for as long as needed.

Of course that only works on a SinX. For any magic class, whether the skill they are using is Storm Gust, or Fire Bolt, Kaite will reflect 2 hits from it. Just spam Kaite when under the SG or being spammed on.

The last part is ranged hitters, you really can't do anything but hope they get bored. After you resurrect, they wont be able to use a skill on you for that 8 seconds, so just wait it out.

EQUIPS

Top Head:

Very easy, Forsaken Helmet with 2 Dark Illusions. Always.

Mid Head:

Observer, with Maya P. So you can use sight, you wont have space for a horong card. ( You dont need a huge stat boost with this build anyway.

Bottom Head:

Rucksack, with a Kiel. It is helpful for Kaite spam when the magic classes come around.

Cloak:

I had 2 Forsaken Cloaks with these card combinations.

2 Salamander cards, for Meteor Storm damage ( Was default until i knew what was going to hit me, I really kept this on when a champ would TSS me )

2 Devilings, used most as it increases both magic damage( good for kaite ) and increases enchanted weapon damage

Armor:

I had 2 Forsaken Armors with these card combinations

2 Orc Lords for reflect ( DUH )

Ghostring and Tao ( For creators, just hope they run out of bottles )

Weapon:

Since SL could not use Book of the Dead I went with an irritating dagger.

Main Gauche with 1 WS 1 Phree 1 D Warlord 1 Metaling

Shield:

2 Different shield

Guard with Alice card ( Alice card makes you receive 30% more damage, good for reflect )

Forsaken Shield with Usakoring ( For the pesky creators )

Shoes:

Heres where part of the build comes in.

Forsaken Shoes with 2 Dark Lords. When 2 Dark Lords are used with 2 Dark Illusions you get 40% cast time reduction.

Acc1:

Glove with Beezlebub

Acc2:

Glove with Beezlebub ( now with 2 more beezlebubs added to the build we have a combined total of 100% reduction )

Stats

Now the important thing to remember here is that you do not need dex, and you do not need vit.

Int : 300

Str: 100 ( You need to carry some yggs, because if you get comad, you wont have sp after autores )

Agi: Depending on the weapon you are using, and the gear, get max aspd

Luk: The rest will go here.

Soul Linkers are indestructable if played right. Its not to say they can't die, but if anyone has the patience to just click themself every 5 seconds, they won't ever die.

I had like 33k. Since you are wearing devilings and alice, youll be getting hit for like 60k anyway, so one hit will kill/autores you.

Sorry if this is considered "QQQQQQQQQQQQQ" but, isn't it spelled Strategies? First thing I noticed when I read this topic.

Anyways, seems like a good guide to me. Although, when I play soul linker, I think I'll just stick to PD/Flee. Might try this out soon.

I just thought of substituting glove wit berze for expert ring wit berze. 2x ER would give -10% cast delay. Since you don't need dex, maybe Expert Rings will be a better choice. And/Or Gloves of Orleans maybe. :)
