Copy / paste of something I sent to Genesis, I left the reasoning behind said changes. (:

I've been looking at the most vulnerable class currently ingame, these lack hp, damage outputs, and overall can be very useless.

--------------------------------------------------------

Priest

Elite Priest Staff (new)

+10 Int

+25% MATK

+15 Dex

+10% HP.

4 Slotted

Elite Priest Book (current)

Effect:

+10 Int

+10 Str

+15 Dex

Increase damage on Demihumans by 15%

Max HP +5%.

4 Slotted

Remove the int, its unneeded for mace/book. Maybe edit the HP to +10%-15% HP depending on what you would consider appropiate, I have around 200k with two taos and two skolls while in full str mode, and hit around 3-6k on average, still making priests very vunerable. Change it to a mace, Priests have Mace Mastery which gives +300 ATK. I'd suggest more of a damage boost but we should see what effect the +300 ATK has if you do change it to mace.

Already discussed this but it's a reminder, change it to 4 slots and I suggest making the int +10 to even it out. Another issues with stalkers is lack of HP, and they are possibly the most easiest class to render useless with the use of FCP and GTB.

The very few people that do play stalker complain about having a lack of Weight-- I'm not sure if its possible to add an increase to weight via weapons, but maybe we could add a card for stalker only, or a new passive skill that gives 500-1000 weight?

Completely useless. Now that coma is.. working a little weird, AD isn't breaking as fast as usual, creators have become even more useless than before. Which is sad because this is the main class I've played for months now. :/

I've missed out some ( well a lot, I didn't want to go through every single class ) classes, would anyone else like to input there thoughts / ideas for the above ideas and any classes I have missed out?

@ GMs: Technically the above was already accepted / being looked at, but community input is nice, don't move this thread yet.

This isn't a thread to argue about class balance, take the class balance feuds elsewhere.

Shouldn't prof get some kind of matk bonus? Or a better hp bonus than 5%?

Yeah, it's a good idea. Genesis mentioned it before I wrote out the list, all creds go to him.

It's the book, not the staff. The book is more melee based ( or meant to be... ) and the staff is for magic. It was meant to be 10%; gonna fix. :P

np gurlfren ^_~ Anyways, here's a list of Elite Weapons and which one does what. If you want, you can take a look and see which one needs improvement or anything. I don't think it's fully updated but it should list most. Credits to L2Aim / Raph for the guide.

Because so much people ask in-game, over ventrilo and on forums what the elite weapon of "insert class name here" does.

That's why I decided to make a small 'guide' like this.

Hope this is helpfull and that people don't have to search for those special weaps anymore.

This is the order I've put them:

[1] Assassin Cross.

[2] Stalker.

[3] Lord Knight.

[4] Champion.

[5] High Wizard.

[6] High Priest.

[7] Paladin.

[8] Clown.

[9] Gyspy.

[10] Sniper.

I'd like to see the whitesmith weapon's effect changed to maybe +8% dmg with CT? The demihuman bonus doesn't really help since it doesn't stack with CT.

Yes.yes.yes. Stalkers need more hp since their stats get spread out very much by the need to strip while still hit decent damage/ have health (except bow stalkers since they have it easy with strip/damage combined) and I can rarely survive an asura while using raydrics and even if I survive with devilings I don't like getting raped by everyone else.

I was thinking, could one of the Professor and Wizard weapons give a chance at divesting shield? I don't have to explain why it would be more useful than +% at demi humans.

well in my point of view i would not change the sniper wep because they are insane to kill in the first place unless your a caster and the priest weapon should yes be changed to mace but the wizard wep would be a bit over powered the prof wep is a good change but the HP bonus if you give them one shouldnt be that high since they can get high HP and cast safty wall. the stalker wep isnt that bad but as the post above states bow stalkers have it easy so the dagger should give an increase to dex as well for other dagger stalkers so they dont have to spend the extra stat points on getting dex. other than those minor things i think its a good idea :D (stamp of approval)
