It would be suiting if the first successful transition from anime to live action is an American made anime. But is Avatar really an anime to begin with? Night Shyamalan or 90% of his movies... going to be interesting to see what he does with this. And about not paying to see it: Its like $6 where I live to see a matinee... better to see it in the theater and judge it than some pirated version. Remember, don't always judge a book by its cover. It might be based on a kids cartoon but it might shock you in the end. Look at Transformers, it's based on a kids cartoon and became one of the best movies of its year. I'm willing to watch this since I watch Avatar here and there.
