Xtopher Posted August 5, 2009 Report Posted August 5, 2009 Many people use different means of enchanting weapons on this server; Professor Endow, Box of Storms, Aspersio, etc... And I understand that this an important aspect of the game. However I was thinking of perhaps adding an npc that would permanently endow a weapon with a certain element (Water/Fire/Wind/etc...). Of course this should come at a heft price for the player, maybe an actual chance at destroying the weapon plus a large cost (10-20 coupons? maybe more) per attempt. I know some people will say its not needed and just duel client and enchant or buy BoS, but I think this would add an interesting variable to not only PvP but to MvP hunting/killing as well. PvP wouldn't be changed drastically, but it would add more options. This enchant should again be permanent and only for weapons. Comments/Criticism?

BoS and other converters can be farmed in mass amounts in a relatively short time .. plus they're a big part of the economy ... I really don't see anyone at all going along with this if their 70-120 coupon elite weapon might get broke ... Also, 10-20 coupons can almost buy you enough bos to keep your weapon permanently enchanted, at least it would if you bought them from me :blink: 500:1 Don't be lazy.

Sensation Posted August 6, 2009 Report Posted August 6, 2009 Use the support classes what they are for, a professor can endow your weapon, a priest can enchant it with holy water, any bow users are capable to use elemental arrows and Assassins can enchant their weapon with poison. Besides that and when you are unable to do things yourself we still have cursed water, box of storms and 4 elemental converters which are obtained through minor farming. Your suggestion would lead to a lot item loss and would make the price of the elite weapons even higher, which will eventually lead to higher (MvP) card prices and thus changing (messing) up the whole economy once again. As far as I can see, things are fine as they are at the moment.
