» Pat Posted August 3, 2009 Report Posted August 3, 2009 Okay why the heck doesn't the tarot card 'The Chariot' break anything? FIX PLS.
Dr. Tran Posted August 3, 2009 Report Posted August 3, 2009 i thought gen made it doesn't break any "custom gears" such as fshield.
Anarii Posted August 3, 2009 Report Posted August 3, 2009 because they thought manteau breaking was too op, i think.
Terroryst Posted August 3, 2009 Report Posted August 3, 2009 I like when my stuff doesn't break. *^_^*
Kittie Posted August 3, 2009 Report Posted August 3, 2009 that just makes the chariot useless pretty much. fix.
Ethereal Posted August 3, 2009 Report Posted August 3, 2009 I can understand that breaking F. Cloaks and Boots (maybe) be considered overpowered, but shields? That was one major advantage that Gypsies/Clowns have over other classes. Making the shields unbreakable is rendering gypsies/clowns more useless. ;'(
Kittie Posted August 3, 2009 Report Posted August 3, 2009 If stalkers can strip custom items, I demand gypsy/clowns should be able to break 'em.
rinrin Posted August 3, 2009 Report Posted August 3, 2009 If stalkers can strip custom items, I demand gypsy/clowns should be able to break 'em. Agreed. They shouldn't break cloaks and boots but w/e can be stripped by stalkers should be breakable too imo.
Millenia Posted August 3, 2009 Report Posted August 3, 2009 i thought gen made it doesn't break any "custom gears" such as fshield. Only been cloak/boots... I believe.
Perishable Posted August 3, 2009 Report Posted August 3, 2009 When i was doing ndlms on Champ my cloak broked how to fcp that lol SIGH
Ryoji Posted August 3, 2009 Report Posted August 3, 2009 If stalkers can strip custom items, I demand gypsy/clowns should be able to break 'em. Unbreakable stuff is unbreakable, just like fcp'd stuff is unstrip-able. no pls. break stuff is only breakable, not breakstuff is no. lol. wat?
Kittie Posted August 3, 2009 Report Posted August 3, 2009 Custom item descriptions aside from weapons don't say they're unbreakable, aka "indestructible."
Ethereal Posted August 4, 2009 Report Posted August 4, 2009 If shield is unbreakable, then that means that the Chariot Tarot Card has had it's percentage to break to a really low percentage, just like Whitesmith Card and AD.
Kittie Posted August 4, 2009 Report Posted August 4, 2009 It should be 100%. It's supposed to break a random piece of equipment. I still break things, just not Forsaken King stuff...which chariot card should...since those items aren't "indestructible", only the elite weapons are.

vegetable monster! Posted August 4, 2009 Report Posted August 4, 2009 Absolutely breaking shields with no way to re-equip unless you repair it and then having the ability to use Coma from a far off distance isn't overpowered. Ok. Forsaken King Shields should be indestructible along with Manteau / Boots, otherwise breaking should be 100% but hey, "some skills can't be tampered with after the update" so I don't think this can really be helped.

Anarii Posted August 4, 2009 Report Posted August 4, 2009 i know who that is without checking his ip. ya. i no
iMush Posted August 4, 2009 Report Posted August 4, 2009 I think it's fine the way it is, Phat own's anyway >.>
Ethereal Posted August 4, 2009 Report Posted August 4, 2009 Breaking shields was one of the main reasons played gypsy/clown. It was one advantage that clowns & gypsies had over other classes. You could even say that it could "compensate" for their lack of HP. But regardless, it should be changed back. You can't strip through bows anymore, so gypsies/clowns are forced to go to melee in order to strip. With their lack of HP, they are bound to die soon. Yes, we know there's FCP thus making the Chariot useless- but what if the person didn't have FCP?
