Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

didn't like it, personally. the only quality scene IMO was when Dumbledore conjured a blazing inferno to repel the Inferii. they wasted so much time on insignificant silences. if they had optimised, we would have enjoyed more content and understand things better. and the build up of tension up to the climax was clumsy. just shows that the action fails when Voldemort's not around. at least the grand finale, Deathly Hallows, will be split into two films: part 1 and part 2.

Lookin forward to Deathly Hallows , didn't know it was gonna be split into two parts tho.

I really think it's way off from the story the book tell's. What i dis liked most was the fact that they randomly skip through stuff, presuming that everybody who's watching the movie has read the book(Which is true :P)

But still, it could've been alot better.

fuck the book , why spend like hours and hours reading a boring ass book when you can watch the 2 hour long film

Hm, the only thing I didn't like in it was that they skipped the fight scenes in the last chapters of the book. Probably because the last one would have so many fights in it :p

I liked it since it has quite some rumor in it unlike the past ones(especially scenes with Ron).

And yeah, I like how well Alan Rickman played his role as Snape. It seems he thoroughly researched his role.

At the end, Harry as holding the Elder Wand. It was supposed to be buried with Dumbledore. But he was holding the elder wand :/

And they got the room of requirement scene all wrong. We were supposed to see the Diadem of Ravenclaw.

tldr.

but if you talking about the new movie, it was a waste of 10.75$ and like 3 hours of my life. I found myself drooling on my girlfriends shoulder.

My genitalia does not equate to your girlfriend's shoulder.

I laughed. But you're forgetting critical points. And I think people forget just how much teenage angst was in the book to begin with. But you haven't read them, so...:P

The movie wasn't too great to be honest. I'm no Harry Potter pro so I don't know how accurate or true to the story it was. But all in all I wasn't impressed.

Best part was when Dumbledore was throwing fire, but he goes out like a bitch like Samuel L. Jackson in Star Wars.

Frankly Speaking this movie sucked balls ...My Grandma could make better movies than this -.-..this year was rather disapointing ...

True, this summer has been disappointing so far. I liked The Hangover, and The Ugly Truth was O.K. But all of the big blockbusters sucked really.

Looking forward to Inglorious Basterds and Sherlock Holmes.

To be honest i loved it.

Best Parts:-

1. When the girl gets that cursed thing and fly's up into the air screaming.(Loved that in the book too.)

2. When the hand shoots out of the water and everyone in the cinema jumps a mile off their seats.

1. Yeah very well done, and the necklace itself looked just evil.

2. I saw the movie a second time yesterday, and when the part came up, I chuckled when everyone in the theater jumped.

3. My favorite parts are Snape parts. Rickman is such a brilliant actor. I also likes the Harry Hermione interaction, and the Snape and Harry interaction.

The movie was faithful to the book but wasn't...not sure if that makes sense. I think I liked it. It was well acted. Alan Rickman as Snape ftw forever.

Alan Rickman is fucking brilliant. He makes my day everytime I see him on screen :)

I actually like the movie, unlike the cool kids ripping on it. It was pretty true to the book, which is as much as you can ask for because quite honestly when the movie = the book exactly the movie blows. It's a tricky balance that I think has been handled well so far in most of the Harry Potter films.
