Elite Stalker Daggers do : Int + 9 MATK + 25% 3 Slotted What I'm wondering is- why the 3 slots? Is it as if we add another slot, would be considered overpowered? If so, why don't we just reduce the MATK% and then add another slot? I mean like although 3 slots may seem alright, but I don't think it's always enough. I suggest that we add another slot, and change the Elite Stalker Dagger stats to the same one as the Elite High Wizard/Professor Staff. Which is : Str+10 <- Not really needed. Int+10 - Or just stay as 9 MATK + 20% That way, we can still keep a good amount of MATK and have another card for any purpose. Something small, nothing THAT big.

Xtopher Posted July 27, 2009 Report Posted July 27, 2009 Well, I'm really indifferent to this but just thought I'd add that small changes do make a difference in builds. I mean lets say the dagger stayed the same but had 1 more slot, if the stalkers full int type then He'll probably do kingring cards which add like 4% matk each I believe. So 25% + 4%x4 = +41% matk, then add the 2x fbh = +20%. +61% to your matk is very different than +57% (w/o extra slot) especially when your fighting a well equipped stalker with around 400-450 int combined. However, if you just remove 5% from the weapon and add a slot then with 4 kingrings it's like +56%. Which is lower than it would be right now with 3 kingrings (+57%). I'm not entirely sure about the matk % stacking or the kingring stacking, this is all really just a guess so I could be completely wrong. Not trying to cut anyone's ideas or argue, just trying to contribute. I know there's some people who are really particular about their builds and others who really could care less about a couple %.

The dagger needs 4 slots. and all your arguments about how much "different" it is with 61% matk... I got something to say on it.. GTB+FCP so yeah let us add one more slot on the dagger, it could help a lot.

Of course GTB+FCP = dead int stalker. That's never been in question. It's just important to consider all angles when making a change like this.

The highest stalkers could get would be 57% with double FBHs, 4kingrings, and the 25% bonus from the weapon. I agree that stalkers dagger should have [4] slots, I find it odd how it doesn't already. Stalkers have low HP, low weight, and need a boost in general, this would be helpful for magic based stalkers. Also, stalkers really do need a sword.

I just don't understand how you get 57% from 2x10% + 4x4% +25% unless the 4th card doesn't stack.

Ontopic: It is odd that it has only 3 slots to begin with. Regardless as to what happens to the dagger I think they should get a sword implemented.
Rayray Posted July 27, 2009 Report Posted July 27, 2009 hmm well the angles that are needed to be considered are these. 1. most elite weapons got 4 slots 2. stalkers got low hp, low weight limit and their int build is screwed by one card and one skill of creators but yeah I agree that they should have a sword too.

No reason it shouldn't because every other elite weapon has [4] slots, hopefully this'll help stalkers if only a little. Accepted. As for the stat suggestion, I see no reason why the MATK should be lowered- wouldn't that ruin the whole point of adding a new slot? It'd make the MATK even less than it originally was with [3] slots.
