As of now there is DNS problems, it may be up for a couple more days but on the 28th of this month it will officially be gone. So if you want to say your goodbyes you might have one more chance. R.I.P. one of the ex-best servers~
Thi@go Posted July 23, 2009 Report Posted July 23, 2009 Yeah, nlRO was one of the best servers like 3+ years ago, I remember when the server had +1000 players always on, it was fun. Now what I can say is congratulations to the adms that never worried with the problems of the server. Anyways, R.I.P nlRO.

I played NLRO for a while, ( since 2004~2005 till 2007 ) it was an amazing server ( at it's prime ), I will miss it dearly. I wish I could get their forum database and keep it as a memory, maybe sometime upload it to a test IPB forum and view old topics and remember some great times with some dear friends.

He said he stopped caring about the server 6-7 months ago. I don't think getting the database from him is the problem, its catching him on and getting him to respond. But you never know, if you were to get the database and actually put it up for people to post on, I might be able to get my hands on it because I'm sure nlROers would love a way to keep in touch.

Actually, Tiago's already asked GurKen for the files and everything. But he hasn't gotten a response back.

Great game-play where being a 'noob' was actually fun instead of frustrating. I've played there since around '05 or so (not accurate) but wasn't known about 'til the end of my being there and the start of ForsakenRO. -Damascus
