Just +5% increase OR (don't take this seriously) +3 stats just for the Lul. hip ribbon is +5 stats [1] slot +5% walk speed. point is if you're going to have quest wings they should have a very little boost or none at all so the economy doesn't spiral downwards again. wings have suffered in the eco enough already.

Harder to get than any other of the quest headgears or nearly the same difficulty or less difficulty but no stat boost whatsoever 2. A new sprite for the wing, it shouldn't be like any of those that we have already 3. The wing should give LESS than what the donation or vote reward wings give(I absolutely don't like the idea of putting any stat boost on it, putting a slot in it, or even putting 10% movement speed to it.) make it only 5% movement speed and nothing more. This is to make newbies think that WINGS DON'T GIVE MUCH. Most newbies wanted to buy wings the moment they reach level 255. dunno why but it seems that in their mentality, wings+ aura=pro Example, I saw someone buying a wing for 45-50, I asked him "You should get elite set first for at least 30, then save the rest for cards". you know what that dude told me? He said "I don't need elite set once I get wings, so don't tell me what to do noob". -_-

Don't take existing wings and make them questable. You know? We need a few pairs of new wings just for the quest lines and then we need to agree on the items you need for the quest. I agree it should be hard, but not TOO hard. Devotion kindly showed a new sprite which I think will be good. Yes, it should give less. +5% walking speed, I think, would work well. They may think that, but they learn. Playing a game is a learning process. Did you start off with someone holding your hand, or did you trial and error on the server? Also, letting them quest wings may help them to not buy wings as quickly. As a newbie, why would you buy something when you can quest for it for free? So again, don't make it absurdly difficult.

Krystell Posted June 22, 2009 Report Posted June 22, 2009 I find it good since most servers have "quest wings" and when new players begin at Fro they try to find Wings NPCs since thats what they are used to. Also at the begining obtaining wings is quite hard (particulary for RO beginers) because Donation seems to be the only way for them (thats what most people think ). But yeah why not making diferent special wings scattered arround the server with very hard Items to obtain and special effects like this Etc wings 1 - Movement speed + 15%, Str + 15 atack+ 20 Etc Wings 2 - Movement Speed +15%, Dex+ 15 hit + 20 Etc Wings 3 - Movement Speed + 15%, Magic atack + 10% MDEF + 15 Etc Wings 4 - Movement Speed + 15%, Increase damage on Demi-humans by 20% - recieve more 40% more damage from demi hume. and so on, the point would be to boost one particular aspect of your character instead of giving a general boost (rucksack,SGW, Imperial Angel), of course I just listed examples hehe but I think those effects are pretty neat arent they? xD Anyways since the effects are good enough also the level of dificulty should be increased high enough so that it doesnt lower the price of the currently existent items for example: 150 gold (its currently hard to get gold) 1 MVP card (perhaps a card acording to the effect of the wings) 50 Emperium Anvil (posible to obtain through Old blue boxes and purple ones) 5 mini boss card (there are plenty minibosses who arent hunted at all: mutant dragon, goblin leader, archang,etc) 50 lvl 10 Stat boosting food [dragon breath cocktail etc.] (acording to the stat that its going to be boosted) 5 voting cupons (lol maybe a bit of retribution to the server xD, optional of course) those items already represent a very hard level of dificulty but yet posible to obtain with time. I think thats pretty fair hehe right?

NO wings have stat improvements. the walk speed is best lowered and maybe adding nifty skills. like [sprint]! LOL add something you would expect from wings. all im thinking of is sprint and leap[how cool would that look! leaping with wings lawl], something a wing would do. Although I can see leap and sprint being abused in woe :blink: CRAAP. Any ways. 5~10 walk speed and add something small but no stats. no wings have ever had stats. why add stats now, and for THESE wings.
