Today I saw the funniest thing the moment I logged on.

I was going to take a screenie but I'm to lazy to upload it.

I saw someone sell a kiel card for 100 coupons.

What the hell happened to our economy. ._____.;

Population is increasing real fast, we've had about 10 new players in the past 3-4 days, i guess the demand for MVP cards is going up, and theres a shortage since its so hard to mvp (new players cant mvp, most old players are to lazy to mvp), and few donate...

Another one:

8000 coupons for a thanatos card?

Wow. I'm so happy I started in 2007 and bought one for 500.

I understand inflation but this is overdoing it. Kiel Cards cost as much as Forsaken Equipment? o______o;

Well people just know when to take advantage of a situation, thus we see people sell over priced items. I remember TG about 8(that is the highest for TG) and FBH and Kiel to 30- 35. and yeah I think the highest I have seen on thana last time would be 600-800.

Some people are getting greedy. One overprices, another one overprices more than the first, the chain goes on and voila, kiels for 80-100, TGs for 60-80, Phrees for 60-70.

I agree, but I also think half of the equation is that the sellers aren't actually doing any research into fair selling prices to begin with. Instead, they just throw some ridiculous price on the item and hope it sells. The item's actual in-game value then becomes the mean of the item's fair selling price, and the price that the richest players are willing to fork over for it.

The item's price won't go back down until the item gets added to new quests and becomes more available on the server. Losing population may actually make item prices plateau rather than drop as fewer buyers doesn't always mean less willingness to pay absurd prices for items. So long as new users aren't willing to do their own research before making a convenience purchase, prices will likely remain inflated.

Blame all the new players (For increasing the demand for cards)

&

Old Players (for paying op'ers their price, there by encouraging them to OP some more)

&

Non Donaters (cuz u cud donate and get a bunch of cards)

It will fix itself like ophelia said, not much we can do by ranting about it
