Cirrus Posted May 8, 2009 Report Posted May 8, 2009 I suppose it's like Wednesday American WoE where most Europeans/Asians can't make it due to having work/school the next day (or on the WoE hour for that matter, like GMT+8 and and above.) Wednesday American WoE = Friday European WoE. Saturdays, though, almost anyone can make it if they want to. I think Euro WoE is fine.

Born2punish Posted May 8, 2009 Report Posted May 8, 2009 LOL I agree to this actually. Euro WoE here starts at 3:00pm and finishes at 4:00pm. I finish school at 3:00pm.. I mean wth. Sunday is like no school for alot of people. So I AGREE.

It's not my problem but some people are averse to having people in the US and countries in/around that timezone during their WoE. A lot of people actually voted for Friday and some of the reasons to why was to have the Americans busy at school/work, because basically, WoE active Americans outnumber the WoE active Europeans/Asians. Having WoE on Sunday would mean more people, for me this is more enjoyable, but I know some would not like having other people on their WoE.

Shadi Posted May 8, 2009 Report Posted May 8, 2009 I got a message through msn earlier today of someone asking me if I was joining Euro WoE I asked "When is it?" and she said "right now" and I was quite surprised getting to know the times for "euro WoE" .... and as far as I know , most real euro players cant make it at this time due to several reasons such as school or work. At this moment I don't really mind it considering I'm busy enough for studying for my exams but I can surely understand if the real euro players want the time to be changed. I think the whole re-schedule thing would not be such a good idea because on Sunday, it's crumming day, and we usually go to church, same as to others I guess :P ... On Sunday or Saturday, almost everyone can go. However, the 'Euro' WoE, remove its purpose because many Americans can join, even though the time scheduled for Euro WoE should have most Europeans and try to prevent the amount of Americans, unless they can make it of couse. So the Euro should be the time when most Americans would struggle playing. I bet most people who agree on this idea are Americans :P? Right? :P

EUROPE =/= ASIA It was made for EUROPEANS not ASIA. Speaking of which alot of asians already make it to American WoE. People did vote but how many of those were Europeans? Euro WoE was added and unfortunately thie time hasn't worked out for some of them and I don't believe changing it to a date where other europeans can actually join in isn't going to fuck things over. so why not.

I mean, personally, I'd say we have only like 10% of the community from Europe. If we ever vote again, it would be hard to track and distinguish IPs which are from europeans only. :\ and that's if it's even possible. I say, ASIAN WOE! D:<!
