This anime is probly my favorite.

It is hardcore ninja action.

There are 2 ninja secret clans that are hated enemies but were put into peace through Hattori Hanzo

Then Ieyasu Tokugawa breaks the peace pact and makes them fight eachother to decide the next heir of the Tokugawa Shogunate.

Its full of action and drama.

I like to think of it as a ninja version of Romeo and Juliet.

The animation is awesome, the story is awesome and the action is well... awesome.

If you are a fan of ninjas (real ninjas, not that Naruto crap) or Ninja Scroll (the old anime movie) you should definately check this show out.

Labeled as mature content due to nudity. However, the story is quite nice. It also features a novel of some sort.

it's so rawrsome my friend hooked me on the first episode then I watched the first 6 couldn't find it so I Read it all omg it's sexy. The movie sucks alls though. People can't act, and they don't look anything like the anime.

I have this in my pc lol I like this Anime. At the start of the Anime till the middle part. It was really interesting and epic with the rich story-lines, backgrounds, colours and battle scenes. But it got really boring like 2 - 3 Episodes(Or was it 4 - 5, I don't remember) before the Episode Finale. That's the only thing I didn't like about this one lol. Ending was good although I won't say it out loud.
