Methamphetamine Posted February 10, 2009 Report Posted February 10, 2009 Oh shut it it's not as bad as harry potter.
Varsity Posted February 11, 2009 Author Report Posted February 11, 2009 stop hating guys.. it's not THAT bad.. ;_;
Dart Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 NO. NO. TAKE IT AWAY. I BEG YOU. I've had to watch the movie to write a critique about it for school, last year. It was 1 & a half hours of pure pain. The movie? I feel your pain. The movie was a huge letdown and utter crap. I was ashamed to know the movie shared a title with the book. Please do not judge the book by the movie. The book is great, the movie was completely horrible.

Genesis Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 Lol, I like how all of you are so sure and believe an actual high school student wrote it. It's called marketing people, they put some cheesy story about a high school student writing it ( hell, or even put a fake picture to make it seem like he/she would be the type of person to write a book of the sort) , to bait people in ( mostly women ). Just because a commercial says using Axe will make you irresistible doesn't mean it's true. =P
Dart Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 I'm talking about the book Eragon, just to clear that up. A little author information
Rhapsody Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 I like Harry Potter :( As for Twilight, I seriously think that compared to other vampire romance stuff ( Queen of the Damned ), this is pure rubbish. No offense to the lovers of Meyer. I mean seriously. Even other friends of mine just saw the movie for Edward, not for the story itself. As for me, I actually wasted almost 2 hours of my life watching the movie, but I felt rewarded for my great sacrifice after hearing "Decode" on the credits. :) Side note, I like the smell of Axe :(
Tiago Posted February 12, 2009 Report Posted February 12, 2009 Then what books do you like besides Harry Potter?
Ryoji Posted February 12, 2009 Report Posted February 12, 2009 Awesome. I just typed "Bad Reviews" into google. And I use the guess what I'm looking for generator that pops up below it. and it's first suggestion with only the words "Bad Reviews" Was..."Bad Reviews for Twilight" LOL?
Ryoji Posted February 12, 2009 Report Posted February 12, 2009 When you get past the overwrought prose, Edward is nothing more than a moody teenage boy with a chip on his shoulder and a good set of fangs, and Bella is nothing more than an angsty girl with a soul searing crush on a boy from the wrong side of the tracks. Twilight is, when you break it down, an overwrought emo song told in prose. Can’t you hear it? “The Tale of Bella and Edward,” an acoustic number sung by a guy in thick glasses and an ironic tshirt. Like Twilight, it would make the charts, but would remain devoid of substance and heart. That's a review to the book, btw.
Tiago Posted February 12, 2009 Report Posted February 12, 2009 I've just read Marley & Me and found it pretty interesting for an autobiography. Have any of you read it? It's also been a bestseller for a while, hasn't it?
