Millenia
Cuz they already have weapons that are usefull. Holysht. Go read my first post - look at the ONLY elite weapon priests have. Tell me how it's useful. @ Miek: Sounds like a good idea.
nero_Pr!esT
the book idea is nice but other classes are scared of it so i dunno if the gms are gonna let it slide lol. btw most ppl that run into a random hp who seems gear'd(Fhelm, rucksack, etc) end up getting coma'd(if no gtb),stripped(if no fcp),holy light spammed to death(if no gtb once again) if someone uses gtb and fcp a high priest isnt really gonna do anything besides fight them till there fcp is gone or they die. and btw if u think about it a sniper can win over high priest and a HP can win over sniper its all based on skill sniper-traps(skid),DS spam, melee+gtb, etc HP-coma,sk,strip,penuma,decrease agi, lex, link, etc just a quick example of a battle i had with a sniper who shouldn't had lost to me once due to no pvp gear lol
Millenia
... I don't get what the last part of your post had to do with anything. o__o; But ya... I doubt GMs will add 1% coma chance 4 slotted book; mainly because other classes will QQ like crazy.
Methamphetamine
Euheuehuehuehe. Thana mace. Nero, just because you fail at your class doesn't mean FCP+GTB > priests automatically.

SketchyAngel
I completely agree, Priests should definitely get some new weps. +Matk would be great for FS, ME priests. And a mace would be great for a battle priest. Sure, priests aren't supposed to battle, but with everyone having GTB. Why make a coma priest, when you can OWN with a battle priest? :]

Sorrow
i supported this idea back at Feb, i support it still :3 Priests can use Maces, Staffs, Books and Knuckles. And they get a battle-styled elite weapon that is a book...not that knuckles would help but you get the idea...
orthikuss
Let's take a look at the elite Priest book: Int +10 Str +10 Max hp +5% Lol, seriously? How the hell does this help Priests in battle? +10 Str is really going to help us, isn't it? No. +10 int? While other classes get 20%+ MATK? Now let's look at one of High Priests passive skills: Mace Mastery Effect: Increases damage with Maces by +3*SkillLV. This damage ignores modification from Armor and VIT defense, but not from Elemental and Card modifiers and applies to all hits for multi hit attacks. (note: it's actually more than that on this server. +300 atk in total) Why don't we have an elite mace for Priests? Infact, why hasn't Mace Mastery been INCREASED like passive skills for other classes have? Because we have buffs? Well, we need to beable to do damage too. I know we can use Book of Dead but not all of us want to be comahoes (no offense!) and prefer more options when it comes to PvPing. Also, we don't even have a staff of some sort to add matk so our holy light can do decent damage. I feel like Priests have been shoved aside while other classes get some pretty good elite weapons. I know this server lacks Priests.. but, thoughts? :/ you are true priest!! and btw if u think about it a sniper can win over high priest and a HP can win over sniper its all based on skill sniper-traps(skid),DS spam, melee+gtb, etc HP-coma,sk,strip,penuma,decrease agi, lex, link, etc just a quick example of a battle i had with a sniper who shouldn't had lost to me once due to no pvp gear lol believe me, sniper is weak pvp class T_T Elite Priest Staff Effect: +25% MATK, +10 Int, +10 Dex Slots: 4 Elite Priest Book Effect: +10 agi, +10 vit, +5 PD, 1% chance to coma Slots: 4 Elite Priest Mace Effect: +15% damage to demihumans, +10 str, +10 dex Slots: 4 i don't agree because too special (not balance), i think, elite priest mace (attack build) +8% damage to demihumans (champ knuckle, fist mastery) str +7 dex +5 elite priest staff (matk build) str +10 (useless) int +10 matk +20% (like other elite staff) elite priest book (def build) str +10 int +10 HP +5% auto cast lv. 1 heal (8%) -- for fun!! ^^
Millenia
I disagree on only +8%. If we're going to talk about unbalance, let's talk about how SinX daggers have 8% each. I believe it should even be raised to +20%.

Sensation
It first needs to be implemented then the stats can be adjusted if needed. All of the current and new weapons have sprites, they might need a recolour to gold to make them special (elite etc). But as it's available for a while and not used, I guess it can wait a bit longer. Nick
HOLY SHIT, UPLOAD THEM AS .RAR PLEASE 7z and .zip don't conserve the korean characters, .rar does.
Sensation
No problem with it myself Nick, can unpack it and use Unbollox to change it to 'normal' characters after. Just tried, 7-zip works like a charm. If it still bugs out, I'll have to extract and repack it, it's a fairly old file (12th of April 2008)

Nick
Oouh I didn't realize you had it saved using the square characters thing before archiving it. Didn't realize unbolloxing works. (In fact I didn't mean the korean characters, I meant the ÇÁ¸®½ºÆ® stuff because that's what I'm used to working with and I can "read" most of it). Anyhow, only .zip does that, it seems .7z and .rar preserve it just fine. Right, that works for me then. Ty brb converting. Edit: Looking at it, it seems you only included the Àΰ£Á· sprites, not the ¾ÆÀÌÅÛ directory which includes the drag/drop sprites, nor the texture\À¯ÀúÀÎÅÍÆäÀ̽º which includes the collection/item images. Ah well, it seems we can edit those later.
Sensation
Items can't be dropped, so I didn't bother with it. Only got the inventory icons and the sprites themselves. Might be that there's something missing in the package, if that's the case, I'll need to boot my 'old' desktop and dig for the files. Just reply if that's the case.
