  1. Hey, thanks. I really don't do much here anymore.

    The Sims 2

Windows XP? Downgrade? LOGIC RUNTIME ERROR
  3. That's pretty strange. I bought a laptop during the summer of 2007 and that thing has been powered on at least 90% of the time that I've first turned it on (occasionally I would turn it off overnight, but very seldom would I consider it). I haven't had a single problem with the power supply. In fact, I haven't had any problems with it. It's weird - people tell me about how they think they messed up their machines, and some of the things they mention are things that I've done but never had a problem with. I should rant about how much I hate laptops.
  4. Sucks. Find XP drivers, format, and install XP. Or you could try out the public Windows 7 beta that's coming out pretty soon. Vista is a huge resource hog. That's the biggest reason I don't use it. It'd run great on my computer, but XP runs even better. I have pretty high hopes for Windows 7. I've already tried out the beta and I like some of the new things, but I kept getting kernel errors, so I gave up on it for now to play around with XP.
  5. I don't know why so many people have problems with their laptop chargers/power supplies. I've never had a problem with mine, and yet my mom has gone through two power supplies and now my dad's power supply isn't working very well either. And they've always stopped working just about when the warranty is no longer active. COINCIDENCE? YOU DECIDE!
  6. Lucky? I'm not so sure it's luck so much as not putting one's self in the situation in the first place.
  7. Regret isn't really the best word to be used in this context, it just doesn't sound right, but I can't think of a better word to put in place of it at the moment. I happen to think a woman should be able to make decisions about her own body, but a lot of people like to argue that you're not just deciding for yourself in that case; you're deciding for another life instead whether or not they should live.

    y so srs ppl...

I always find it entertaining when people type silly things like "QQ," mostly because it helps me differentiate between people who take the game too seriously and people who play for fun. I troll in thor_v03 a lot and I always run into people who complain about other people using Yggdrasilberries to heal while they're getting beaten up. "LULZ U CAN ONLY WIN WITH YGGZ," etc. They are pretty darn spammable. I played one server where there was a 10 second cooldown so you couldn't just mash your ygg hotkey to constantly heal yourself. But hey, I don't care, I play for fun. If someone is being big enough of a jerk to come find me just to kill me over and over I don't mind logging off and doing something else. "w8 me," though, is incredibly broken English. If I owned my own server I would probably ban people that typed like idiots. But that would have to be my own server that I created the rules for. Oh, and to answer your question OP: vidya games and Internets are serious business.
  9. Cards work differently in the DS version of the game... well, by that I mean, they have different effects.

    No stonecurse?

Probably your best bet for now, it also prevents you from getting frozen.
  11. Yes. As a matter of fact, Scratch and Grounder were also hilarious. And the thread title says "HARDEST BOSSES EVER~". MY APOLOGIES
  12. Play/replay more video games. You'll find out that there are more bosses that are way more difficult than any of the ones you've listed. This is more of a "WHICH BOSS IS THE MOST WELL KNOWN?" kind of poll more than anything, in my opinion. And heck, not even all bosses are difficult. Bowser is never difficult (but Mario games are easy), and I don't know about you, but I can't even take Robotnik seriously as a villain, but that could be because I watched Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog as a kid, and he was a huge idiot in that cartoon.
  13. The only challenging boss on this list is M. Bison. I'm saddened that I don't see Alma from Ninja Gaiden on here, though. Talk about hard.

    XBOX 360 Advice

It really depends on what games you want to play. You can buy a separate harddrive for your XBox 360, but it's going to cost you a lot of money, and it would be cheaper to just buy it with the system in the Pro package. But if you're not planning on playing a lot of games or downloading a lot of things, then sure, you could go the way of the Arcade... but you'll need some kind of memory unit for saving game progress eventually. And if you find one someday that there's a game on XBox Live Arcade that you want to download, well, you're pretty boned without a harddrive. If you're not into shooters, you'll hate Left 4 Dead, and you'll most likely hate Gears of War 1 & 2 as well. I wouldn't even bother playing shooting games on the 360, anyway, I find they are much more fun on the PC. But that's all a matter of opinion!
  15. I played it for around 20 minutes, and the CG for the prologue was pretty damn awesome. I didn't play any more of it because... of this.

Thanks. I'll definitely check these things out after this week is over. For now I have too many exams to worry about.
  17. I've played it. It's pretty boring and there's a tremendous amount of text in the beginning. But since I don't have anything better to do in between my classes, I'll sit around and play it a little bit on my DS. I haven't heard much about online play... as far as unlocking it goes (but I've heard you can get to it as soon as you reach Morroc). It exists, and it's for 3 players, and you can only customize your character's appearance in the online mode (you can't in single player, but you do choose your class). There are some new classes, too. Not that I know how to unlock any of them. I might continue playing it, but I'm pretty sure gbatemp is working on some kind of translation patch to translate the important stuff, and that would make everything a lot easier.
  18. I suppose I could say Chrono Trigger is my favorite game of all time, as it's the one game I've played through the most out of every game that I've played. And now I'm working on 100% completion on the DS version of the game. Of honorable mention are Final Fantasy IV, V, VI and IX as well.

ForsakenRO was recommended to me by a friend after he happened to see me playing around with RO DS. So I decided to check out the website and I was almost immediately coaxed into joining when I saw the entire deal where there are not any ridiculous custom donation items that completely ruin the game. I'm still running through all the patching right now. I haven't played Ragnarok on the PC in around a year, so there's probably quite a bit to catch up on.
