Hm, well I guess I'll get straight to the point. What's are the prices for: Boxes of Thunder Fire Converters Paladin Forsaken Elite Set Kiel-D-01 Card Tao Gunka Card Golden Thief Bug Card Assassin Cross Card Event Coupons (I may know, but it's not definite) Thanks for reading and moar thanks if you reply!

So much for the caption of this topic saying that it doesn't have anything to do with GTB ._. Well, we could always make it so that GTB makes magic do half damage, and then make it add like 101 MDEF or something. That way, if Mages use a High Wizard Katrinn card, they can do about half damage to people with GTB. That makes it so GTB isn't completely ineffective, and it also gives Mages a chance if they have the card.

Ah, this may have been said already because I didn't want to surf thru 4 pages of text, but most of the Al De Baran castles have water in them. Anyway, Waterball is very powerful. Why is it very powerful? You need certain conditions for it to work. Should we make Mages, who screw anyone over who doesn't have a GTB, screw those people over even more? I don't really see a point. That's like saying we should just make Sacrifice do 400,000 damage because they can't really kill Ghostring-users that well, so they should do more damage against non anti-neutrals. Ghostring does seem like a more common card anyway (GTB = MvP, Ghostring = mini boss) and everyone can wear armor. This actually seems a lot more logical than this, though I don't agree with either. Anyway, it's better to give your opponent a fighting chance if they don't have a GTB, or new players will all get owned. Besides, people need to use their heads a little and strategize where they'll guard to use Waterball to their advantage. EDIT: By the way, replying to the post above, the idea you suggested is like giving Paladins Mage class comparable magic skills for when their Sacrifice doesn't work. Classes have their weaknesses and need to find their ways around it. When Paladins can't Sacrifice, they have to use Holy Cross or something. Wow, I make a lot of Paladin comparisons.

There is not a shortage of demand on a coupon, but a shortage of those willing to spend it. If people tend to not buy from other players, who says that they will buy from an overpriced NPC? There are hundreds of players out there who need the coupons for equipment, so I don't think the demand will ever lower anytime soon, or at all. We shouldn't just throw away the extra coupons for the items from NPCs, because of that demand. Also, there will always be those few people who don't buy things if the NPC is implemented, like how some people don't buy from other players. Those players, who save their coupons, will keep the price for rare items like Thanatos up, because the prices for most items depend on the highest value. Even if that wasn't a problem, something else could happen, even if the price decreased. The ratio between how many coupons you have and how many coupons a rare item, a Thanatos card for example, will cost will stay the same. Here's an example: say that right now the Thanatos card costs 3,000 coupons, and you only have 1,000. That makes it a 1:3 ratio. If the number of coupons decreases because of the NPC, then EVERYONES (including your) coupons would decrease as well. Then, even if the Thanatos card dropped to 1,000 coupons, you would probably have 300 coupons. In this way, it doesn't really matter. The people who have the most will always get it. It is not that the value of the coupon is decreasing, for it is always backed by real money; the value of harder to get items are just increasing. There should always be a set price on easier to obtain items, because of the money backing. The fact that only the buyers, not the sellers of these items, are directly affected by the great amount of coupons. The way many may think it will affect the sellers will be that the seller could just go to a buyer with a great surplus of coupons, and sell common items to them for an overpriced price, because the buyers shouldn't really care to waste a few coupons. Well, think about it. How did those many-coupon-holding few get that many coupons anyway? They saved it up or didn't spend it, so then the people with the surplus would not use their coupons anyway. It's just that the population decides when the coupon's value fluctuates. The use of the set price should continue unless someone goes, "Hey, I think I'll buy one ygg ticket for two coupons consistently." According to what you said, this shouldn't happen because of greed, so the donators would try to get every last value out of their coupons. Because the value is not affected by people who buy coupons (which would force the value of coupons to decrease), but is affected by how the donators use it (who wouldn't fluctuate prices), the value should stay at equilibrium. The harder to get items probably will also stay the same in terms of price. The average price of coupons does not affect the price of hard to get items, but the highest amount of coupons someone has does. The fact that people are willing to pay $500 for a Thanatos card in the first place means that it will probably be sold for that high, especially because rare items would be sold auction-style.

Gunslingers can use storage too, you know. Anyway, Champions do a lot of damage at the cost of their SP, if you think of Asura Strike. If you think about TSS, then I'm pretty sure Gunslingers can do more damage. Assassin Crosses can only do more damage if they have EDP on, which they have to hunt for. They have their sacrifices too. And since I don't know anything about the server or its Gunslingers, I'll depend on Ryoji when referring to their advantages and damage.

The NPC being implemented could affect the prices of converters. The demand for the converters would decrease and there would be a lot less people buying them from players, since they have oh-so-many coupons, thus letting them spend just a few extra for coupons at that moment. Some sellers may be determined and keep their price close to the NPCs, but there are always people out there who will sell it for a lot less because they don't want to do all the spamming. Then the price for the converters would be relative to that of the lowest price, making it so the normal price would be considered too high. People could also not increase their prices because of the fact that the prices are always relative to the lowest. That means the price of 20 coupons would not increase, and only could go lower. Well, we can never be sure if this will happen, but I don't think the risk is worth it. This would help a very small minority in forms of slight convenience in saving maybe a few minutes at the cost of a great majority having a real big pain in the ass.

0mgZ w3 sud 1ncraSE a11 hpZZz 4 a11 ch4rz s0z 1 duN ne3D 2 usE mAoR muDKipZz yGGzzZ Every class has its own weakness. If we made a Gunslinger's HP a lot more, what would theirs be? Sure, there could be some other things that could be weaknesses, but a Gunslinger's just happens to be survival rate. They do enough damage, anyway. I highly doubt that it could be a problem if you handled it right. Just try to think outside the box and use every little factor. For example, use an Assassin Cross card or something. Also, take into consideration that some classes manage to murder other classes. That could be a case on why you people die so much.

I'm not sure this is correct, but coupons are OK. There is no such thing as a great inflation here, because there is something backing the value of coupons: real life money. The U.S. is probably making dollars with no value behind it. An example of this happening ingame would be GMs giving random people free coupons. This doesn't happen because you have to earn the coupons or buy them. There is also the fact that inflation would not be a completely bad thing, because NPCs (there are NPCs to use coupons for, right?) aren't out the make a profit, but to be a convenience to players. Their prices for items do not rise with the amount of coupons in circulation. Think about it like this. Everyone gets more money and prices stay the same; if it were like that, then inflation would not be a bad thing. By the way, who the hell is stupid enough to donate for more coupons than they need? EDIT: Oh, and an inflation of coupons would not be a bad thing for donators, either. They use the same NPCs, so they still would donate the same amount of money.

Are Star Crumbs really needed? I have like 850 of them that I was going to NPC sell for a minor profit. Well anyway, I feel that this would only balance our economy if there was an inflation of coupons, which decreases their value. Though, that situation would balance itself, because the main income for coupons (donators, who most of them donate for the ingame benefits) would decrease because donators would need to donate extremely large amounts of money to gain little, because of the small value the coupon would have. This fact would discourage much donations, and eventually the number of coupons would decrease because of the small income of the coupons. This will lead the value of coupons back to its original state. Of course, this idea is practical, because the situation mentioned above will correct itself, but it would take quite a while. The NPC could hasten the process.

I know a good hat. Unimplemented Hat: -Summons a stationary, unimplemented monster (9001 HP, 9001 DEF/MDEF, MvP) every 3 seconds that causes everyone who sees it besides the wearer to disconnect and remain in that location whenever they try to warp in. Hax.

A good idea would be to make certain monsters drop a certain item (preferably not available via donations) that could be traded in for the items that you described. This would allow players to sell the certain items in exchange for coupons, so that players would buy these certain items to gain or think they gain an edge on their opponents. The fact that people must buy these certain items from other people, instead of NPCs, will make the coupons go back into the economy. With more coupons in fluctuation, this could allow the price of coupons to decrease, which is a good thing, according to Genesis. Of course, my belief of more coupons into the economy could backfire, and cause an inflation of coupons. This would make prices skyrocket. We would need to make sure there is a good balance, but, in my opinion, having the prices for things involving coupons a little less is better than having a little higher.

I have a thought. I'm pretty new here, so I may be incorrect, but the only sources of coupons here are from donation and events, right? I would find that if people were to waste their coupons on items from an NPC for convenience, making the circulation of coupons transfer away from new players. This would make new players have to increase their products and decrease the price to compare to the NPC, making it difficult for them to become on par with normal players. Plus, there could be a lack of coupons because of them being spent on an NPC. A person's income and money are only so finite, after all. This would increase the rarity of coupons, thus making it more expensive. Of course, if you are looking at this in a way that would make it most profitable for the server, this idea would probably be best. People would spend more money on coupons to get products, and the pressure from the difficulty on a new player would convince many to donate. It would be more quality players versus more quantity players. Though people would be spending ridiculous amounts of money on new items, the price would most likely drop considerably after a while. The chance that the price will drop depends on the method of getting the item. Coupons would also probably be used on new players for consumable items when someone has an abundance of coupons. It is mostly human nature to always go the easiest path when available. Though they could just get their own items and make their coupons sit, it is better for them to have it on stock to eventually pour into the economy than to put them into NPCs which do not put it back at all.

For future reference, I'm pretty sure it's impossible to get an item with more than 4 slots. A while ago, a person told me it was impossible when he tried to make his own server.

"The Holy Grail War. A great ritual that materializes the greatest holy artifact, the Holy Grail. There are two conditions to participate in this ritual. To be a magus, and to be a "Master" chosen by the Holy Grail. (The experience as a magus is not questioned if one has the aptitude) There are seven chosen Masters, and seven classes of Servants. There is only one Holy Grail. If you wish for a miracle. Prove that you are the strongest with your powers." This is pretty much all I can put right now, since I'm working on a project. I would post the Wikipedia summary... but some people wouldn't consider it a summary. Maybe I'll make one later. For now, discuss if you've seen or read it  .

You know what really sucks? It sucks when you try to redeem your vote with a full inventory >_< (happened to me). Maybe it's just my stupidity, but I think that we should find a way to fix that xD.

The "equips you slack" part really caught my eye. I just joined this server, so you could say I'm lacking a lot xD. I could say that I am loyal, but I guess it depends on how much I like the guild. If I like it a lot, then I'll talk a lot and be very loyal :D. I'm definitely unknown, mostly. I've been playing RO for a few years, in and out, so you could say I'm skilled. I'm not sure what part of the guild you are referring to, whether it's recruitment or WoE. If it is recruitment, then I would like to join ASAP ^_^.

I'll infer that this is besides anime series... Fresh Prince of Belair anyone?

Welcome! I hope you have fun here. By the way, the newbie guide doesn't cover enough points... to learn a lot, maybe search a lot thru the guide pages. I also recommend using the Forsaken City Guide NPC at @go 25. He's a bit to the left when you warp in, I think. Another needed fact is that most drops are 100% except for gold, treasure boxes, some equipment, and MvP cards. Personally, if I need fast money I go to tha_t(07-11) and get Stone of Sages. Most MvP cards are 10%, but some of the really good ones are 0.01% (including Thanatos). Be sure to collect a lot of Yggdrasil Berries.

Hey, if possible, I would like to join. I'm close to 255 (xD) and my equipment suck... but I bet that I could do very well. I just need some support and maybe some advice every now and then and I'll be sure to become a strong force in no time. I don't tend to team people, so that's a good trait xD.

I disgust myself as well, Char. Unfortunately, I don't have enough time to disgust myself any longer, because I have more homework assignments to do and I don't want to drop dead during soccer tomorrow. I'll talk to you later.
-
:( *Epic fail* See, that partially offended you, didn't it? I had good relations with a lot of people, so it's hard to determine who was my favorite xD. I also have to do a bunch of other homework soon, so we may need to hurry.

Your hyperness leads me to suspect that you are Chou, but you couldn't be because you don't usually say anything when I'm on MSN, so I couldn't possibly be a favorite  .
