i vote for the second. first has the weird-ass grass, but also, the sprite seems to be placed wrong, as if the guy's mass is 0 and he can sit on top of blades of grass without breaking them. and the pixelation of the sprite VS the smoothness of the rest? doesn't exactly work out well. also would've been nicer had made the grass look more realistic. i.e. more colors blended in & a shadow on the sprite rather than having it half-lighted, then randomly half-shadowed. & i don't like the wide-screen like border. why the second one? because the colors blend nicely and i'm a sucker for cool brushes.

uhh, i don't know names, but i'm guessing the 2nd one's is "Tony's"? 'cause i'd vote for that one. both have sweet graphical components, but the 1st is a little too monotone (or duotone, to be literal) so it gives it a little bit more of a bland look, plus the even distribution of all the colors makes it hard to see where to focus your eyes. & the text looks like its placement wasn't completely thought through. the 2nd one does look a little busy, but the overall completed look it has, and the fact that the designer was capable of using every color, and introducing some other ones, while making it still look cohesive is a total +

the green doesn't match any color on the gunslinger, at least none that i see, so it seems like it was just a really cool graphic brush with an ro character meaninglessly pasted onto it. & the edges of the graphic are harsh - try to blur them with like 5% hardness. other than that, it's really cute. is that helvetica neue in the "nephy"?
