How can we be sure?
-
Comes to make me wonder, are @autotrade or whatever Merchants actually not counted in the server population, or could this be a plot to make the server seem well populated when you type /where. I mean, it sure doesn't feel like over 500+ active players and nonetheless, I've been killing the same people over and over in PvP. Only new names I see are always the same people, with new characters. Server feels more like if there are only around 160ish active players. Maybe this is a plot to make the server seem populated. Who knows, right? No proof and we can't really take a staff member's "honest" word in this since, well, honesty isn't really existing. Lol.

So... this suggestion was actually accepted? Why? What the hell? http://forum.forsaken-ro.net/index.php?sho...c=13205&hl=

I'll quote again and point out that I agree with him and so I abandon this suggestion.

However Champion and Assassin Cross' power prevails over any other class mentioned in the list, even against Lord Knight if the Champion plays it right (Assassin Cross' meet a real match against Lord Knight) but the matter of being here is that they just Snap and Backslide around the map in LMS like crazy as soon as the enemy has an upper hand which is rare to happen as it is. Classes with the game's optimal offenses should actually fight instead of flee. Else, shouldn't every other class get these skills then? In addition against your quote: I've witnessed some Champions, Asura in less than 2 seconds after snapping next to me, it's a quick process of Snap/Asura, Zen/Fury/Zen, Snap away from opponent.

Figures it got deleted by the breach earlier I bet, that's why I didn't point fingers lol Exactly then if you want teamwork, then have a fixed amount of players and make this event a bit more formal. I mean, guilds are a great feature of Ragnarok Online after all, give it some more glory outside the gates of WoE. Quantity has mattered tons of times in the GvGs I've attended and from what others have told me too. Nonetheless I did mention that the players should have to sign up in the forums the guild & players that would battle or something. They need teamwork to choose the right players.
-
As if traps can stop a Champion from TSSing you to death. They can Pneuma over a Sniper's attacks and TSS over 20k (per sphere) worth of damage if you're equipped with a bow. I honestly think a class with ridiculous-powerful melee doesn't need ridiculous-powerful ranged too.

First off I don't see why my post before yours was deleted, mentioning iRO shouldn't be illegal in a private sever considering that it's the official international server, not another private illegal one. Anyways; I said 6 as just a randomized number, obviously the quantity will be risen or lowered, the six "best" players in the server would obviously hold rivalry within each other (commonly found in PvP) and will obviously not want to team up on others, the winnings of the guild will be handed to the Guild Leader which will obviously them hand them down to the guild members, this event should be done more formally and have players sign up before the event starts. As I said, compare this to the original, USRC Tournaments. Teamwork will definitely be needed in order to actually win a tournament where quantity isn't the main purpose, as I said because you only have a select amount of players that can join, they will have to choose wisely on who to pick the classes since they will not have over 10 Creators, 5 Paladins, 25 Assassin Crosses, 20 Champions etc..
-
Nah. GvG is just like an LMS for Guilds but to measure which guild is better, obviously having the better leader which is also the ability to choose the best members and the best classes. Edit Not only that but the results will vary more often.
-
A strong guild can choose their strongest members and have the best tactic to win. 20 mediocre Assassin Crosses with Donation Items, MvPs, Yggs and EDPs can easily kill 5 professionally game-experienced Assassin Crosses with Donation Items, MvPs, Yggs and EDPs. Quality over quantity. You don't really see who has a stronger guild in our current GvG, you only see who has more people. That's about it.
-
Yeah basically like the official server's USRC Tournaments but instead we hold it more than just yearly. &20 players is a bit too much still, I said a number of 6 since they would have to hand pick the best of the best of their classes in order to complete the battle and survive but then again, with Champions and Assassin Crosses ultraoverpowered we might need a higher number.

I've seen Champions quickly Asura while snapping towards me without a delay and snapping away within a half second time limit (I don't know how the hell they can Zen, Fury & Zen that quick but they do), I've even had some Champions ask to practice that ability on me which proved possible to be done. Thank you Zeitgeist & Sensation for considering to fix these problems. Thank you to the community as well that gave their opinions and insight into these suggestions.

How about having a guild amount limit in GvG so the same guilds would stop winning. I mean, quantity is better than quality apparently in the "professional" level of guilds, so if you actually add an amount of say, 6 members per guild to battle so tactic would actually be a requirement to succeed in victory. The six representatives/contestants of the guilds will be partied through obligation to make sure they don't try to deviate any plot to overthrow any other guild example, if Equilibrium made a randomized guild named... Equinox in order to aid Equilibrium in battle against say.. Treadstone. Maybe later a better rule will be created but for now I stand for my idea of only enabling 6 players from each guild to battle in GvG so the battles will be based more on tactic rather amount.

I like the Esma, but Estun and Estin should be necessary and they would need a higher HP pool anyways and better Melee Damage Modifier to actually help the Soul Linkers around. As well as possibly tuning some of their Links to do different stuff, since they've got some mighty useless Links. As for the magic being more powerful or not, if I'm not mistaken damage against a Monster is always greater than the damage done to a Player which means it won't be as powerful as it seems. Correct me if I'm wrong though. I disagree with Kaziel having instant cast since then they would truly be immortal with 3 Kiels augmented in their headgear.

Basically like what iRO (Official International RO Server) has ; http://iro.snipah.com/index.php?s=1 The website keeps a balance of all 4 prices on items sold and even helps with price checking and stuff. Except that for fRO's website you would use Donation Coupons, Event Coupons and Zeny as the economy. I honestly think though that wings should deserve another boost or a new line of Donation Wings should be created, replacing the current so they can once again take place in fRO. I mean, it gets boring seeing everyone wearing the same Rucksacks and Emperium Auras all the time.

The problem with Snap / Backslide isn't the amount of SP it takes, but the speed it has to be spammed, launching players out of range during LMS. If there was some delay added to Backslide and Snap during LMS, some players might have time to catch up to the opponent enough to maybe, tap them 3 to 4 times before they fly off again. Normally players can't even reach the player unless they're long-ranged. Nonetheless maybe this will kill the Assassin Cross' tendency to just Cloak, Sonic Blow Spam, Backslide, Backslide, Backslide, Backslide, Backslide, Backslide, Speed Pot to you Cloaked, Sonic Blow Spam, Backslide, Backslide, Backslide, Backslide vice versa

Can a GM just forum-mute him or something? Anyways, Backslide and Snap as I said are very powerful evasive skills that absolutely move the entire character out of reach of any other player. They take advantage over others with this skill in order to survive when others have gained an upper hand, which rarely happens. Example, If a Professor is battling a Champion and the Professor succeeds in stripping the Champion's shield, the Champion may either Snap away from the Professor's range or just Root him if he accidentally attacks. Now that you think of it, Root is pretty damn abusive too... I mean, hold a character down for 1 entire minute. But that's not our case right now. Also, I don't keep getting "owned" by Assassin Crosses and Champions during LMS, they increase the time limit however because of how overpowered they are, already being able to fly around the map to avoid contact with their enemies and hit off high offensive damage.
-
Yeah uh PvP is meant to try to survive in it as well as kill.
-
Happened before and sucked, nobody liked it so it was changed to Non-Donation PvP.
-
What the hell? Lol. I can't understand most of what you said, can you just like, get out of this thread?
-
http://forum.forsaken-ro.net/index.php?showtopic=10134 @calintz: Oh lol yeah people cry over everything. Mainly when it balances their classes out more with every other since they think they're "pro" playing an overpowered class.
-
Dude, Theif based and Champions are the only ones with those skills and yet they're the strongest classes in this server, and you're afraid of getting ganged as the strongest classes in the server...?
-
No no honestly Paladins don't need much HP, what I thought was a nerf was an official nerf according to a staff member that somehow isn't found in any sites, the only "official" information about any skill changes is this http://ro.doddlercon.com/wiki/index.php?ti...l_Skill_Changes and yet we've barely entered "Episode 12 - Nightmare of Midgard, Destruction of Morroc " while these skill changes aren't even implemented in any officials. The "nerf" I'm talking about too is the massive reduction speed on Paladins. They were reduced a bit toooooooo much making it difficult to catch up to any class, mainly Champions that have a tendency to just Snap -> TSS -> Snap -> TSS. and thank you Sensation for butting in and giving us the warning, with hope that this discussion may continue.

Dude you're making absolutely no sense, you're misunderstanding everything basically and interpreting it to your incorrect understanding. The GMs do their work properly like they should but they aren't robots able to scan the entire map, visually in split seconds making sure no rules are breached. Snap and Backslide aren't an issue only during the ending like I said earlier it's a continuing issue throughout an entire LMS match. May a GM please just warn this guy if he posts, at all in here? &I never disagreed with you posting flames and pointless things, since I still think you do. I said that we disagree with your opinions.
