That's scary xD My friends were joking with me about that same name b/c of my own name. It's a nice name but this horse is more sweet than gallant, and he's not a spanish breed.

To be to the point, I actually got a real, breathing, living horse, after years of longing. He's a Standardbred, ex-racer, and he's the sweetest, very intelligent, a quick learner, and loves to snuggle. But some nutt named him Diablo, and since I really don't want my horse's name to be Satan, I've been searching for a better one. I really can't decide, especially since that will be his name until he dies and I want to really like it. Here he is :) Please suggest some GOOD names that flow well off the tongue, that are easy to pronounce, that aren't too common or stupid, and that have good meaning. Maybe something will pop out at me. I appreciate any genuine help ^-^ Some names I like: Apple-Jack Othello Keldoron Chetan (means Hawk in Aboriginal)

Nines: The animation is really neat, but I'm afraid I don't understand the message or the point of it. Skyerine: The Basking Shark, and the Whale Shark are both plankton feeders. They have no teeth, and instead open their mouths wide like whales and filter all the plankton and krill that pass through. Therefore, vegetarian sharks are quite possible. The vegetables are cute though. no1: yours is the most appealing in terms of colors and composition, but that's hardly what the week's theme was about; Humans can fly above the clouds with gliders, and even go into the upper atmosphere with special plains. And since you're demonstrating a skateboarder that is in mid-air, you're sorting of proving your own signature wrong. Terroryst: The best thing about yoru siggy imo is the message. I'm a big fan of super-heroes, and it's a heart wrenching thing when you become attached to a character so much you feel their pain, and the pain of not being abld to save the very things you love is terrible. Again, though, taking some pictures, sticking them together, and playing around with the colors/effects without actually changing anything on the stocks isn't that impressive for me. I vote for Tee-Chan: Flawlessly executed ;) Here I was expecting all these cool sigs from everyone about how such-and-such wasn't possible, and the first thing I see is his; I was decently blown away, and out of all the signatures in this competition I've ever seen this one got me to think the most. In fact I'm not sure whether or not to agree with it. I would like to believe that humans can evolve to do anything, and by the same token it's perhaps a bit foolish to wish it were so. I know there was no real work involved here, but it really mind-fucked me, what can I say xD

Non-existent xP I had two big tests this week, plus work, and by the time friday came along (which was the only free day I had) something major had come up; I'm in all likelihood getting a horse today. I met him and fell in love on Friday. Besides, there are so many entries, why add one. btw yours is awesomecakes.

Ray and John...why so Boss... So if I had to vote...and I sort of do and sort of don't, I say the one that gave me the most pleasant reaction was tg's. First of all that idea was right in front of all our faces, for the fact that this is an RO forum and the Stalker's skill is so well known and well abused ;P Nice touch with the fro soldier. Maybe a little too simple? But sometimes that's the best way to go. Good effort on trying to give it a border, or it would have just been a cropped ss. On a more serious note it's quite satirical in that it mentions the signature; like the work knows it's being posted for a competition and is mocking perhaps the fact that it knows it won't win. Makes sense? (ok it does to me). Yeees I was about to come edit b/c I realized I wasn't specific about that. I vote for tee-chan.

You're kidding me right? His background is a stock image, he even linked to it in the main thread. The only 100% hand drawn entry is mine, and yes I'll be indulgent and arrogant if I want to *stomps foot* har.

Well, let's be really straightforward. Most of the reasons given in SOTW voting are very lame and not well thought out. I would just like to see real criticism for once, instead of "I like or dislike it because it's my taste." A vote should be based on much more than that. The two sentence requirement being valid is so vague in my mind because to me half of them are not valid but what can I do... When someone votes for me and gives me a few decent sentences I feel it was well deserved. Three votes for the same person barely two hours after the voting thread opens makes me go hmm. And I don't want to accuse anyone, but it usually takes all day Saturday to get three votes, let alone for the same person. John's just frustrated, as am I. And as long as we're criticizing other's work because we don't "like it", I think it's only fair that one is allowed to criticize a vote if it's not to our taste.

Much love, guys, much love <3 Wellll it's not so much teaching as it is practice. I've been naturally dedicated to drawing all my life, so it comes "easy" to me. There was a time where I could picture exactly what I wanted my drawing to look like and if I didn't get it exactly I was discouraged. Now I'm not married to my ideas, and if what comes out on the paper is different than my vision I'm ok with that. Draw lots of wavy lines and lots of circles freehand and your lines will get better. I really don't know who to vote for this week, tbh I'm not feelin' any of them (sry D:). 2 looks cool, but it's a bunch of cool looking pics thrown together with a couple effects and brushes, and as soon as I saw how similar the stocks were to the finished product it turned me off right away. Kudos to the hand drawn ones, even if you didn't finish (ilu tg D:). Personally Jay's looks less organized than his usual, and sort of left me wanting more.

Of course it's familiar, I had to use a reference for his face, idfk all the details without looking. The rest of Venom is all from my head though. I mean your stock looks familiar too, you didn't even create any of them, and that's ok, but if that's the case you should be careful about your comments. Not sure what you meant by yours but judging from our past it's not friendly.

Mega Man Vs. Venom Obviously Venom's kicking ass. Because you know all the Capcom characters are so God Damn LAME, that none of them can match the coolness of most Marvel creations. I wanted this to be a cool standoff between Venom and Dante, but idk I didn't have it in me and I got really frustrated. Hence poor ugly Mega Man is taking the brunt of my anger. Let it be known, that Capcom characters are lame, with the exception of Dante from DMC, who is a mofo to draw atm. Marvel Vs. DC next time please... /frustrated

So question. Are you limiting the character selection to the ones in the game? Because there are WAY more Marvel characters than what is is listed in the link, and same goes for Capcom. Be cool if we could select any char from either company.

^That's sort of what I aimed for. Family Guy/Simpson's. I can just imagine Peter's Voice saying "Oh my GOD!" My vote goes to [ 5 ] Tee-chan. I like Edel's for its humor, but Tg's really made me say "oh wow!" when I saw it. Its humor is more my style, and I did not know he draws so well; I'm being constantly surprised by people on fro :) He even discussed his idea beforehand and mentioned Super Nova. This is the most creative version of that Galactic Phenomenon I've seen xP Really good stuff Tg, y so awsm. Also, I don't want to nitpick, but (as far as I can tell) I'm the only one who put their name in their sig. I don't mind but if we follow some rules we should follow them all, yeah? o.o

I really didn't see this coming. I mean I know it's V-Day coming up but this didn't even come to mind as an obvious SOTW theme. I think Love has already been done, but oh well let's do it again.
