I don't know the map, but using more monsters instead of changing the map might be an better solution(due to server based stuff).

Hello everyone, some of you might saw my introduction thread with some of my maps already, so this time I wanted to open a thread about Custom maps. I am an old Ragnarok Mapper which maps got for an unknown reason lost in the last years, but I want to start to map once again. In this thread you can find my latest maps or even whole Episodes which you may comment on. Critique, suggestions or even a review are more than welcome! Why I'm doing this on this server? Mh... I feel attracted to it. People are nice and etc.. Anyway, let's start. Shall we? Please keep in mind: This is not a fRO-server related update. I do this for enjoyment~ Episode 12.2 - Nightmare of Midgard, Rebuild of Morroc The good old Morroc... or rather the new destroyed morroc? - In the past I thought gravity is going for an update for the rebuild of Morroc, but unfortunaley, this never happened. I do know that some people are sad about this and would like to have the old morroc back. I feel the same. So why not having a new unofficial update of this old city, which was known to be one of the biggest player- and Event-meetings in RO? Story After a hard fight which has cost many victims, the people from Rune-Midgard defeated Satan Morroc and sealed him away as the Mage Knight Thanatos did 1000 years before. The years past and Morroc germinates once again to the city of Desert as its used to be, build over the seal of Satan Morroc. Even though the seal is implemented, due to the last release of Satan Morroc, negative energy is still floating trough Morroc which manifest it-self in the centrum of the power - The Seal; The gate to Slurt(Satan Morrocs real name) which is in the in deepest level from the new dungeon of Morroc: <insert name here>. [<add norse mythologie here>] [story uncomplet] Included Updates Incoming - [llllllllll 100%] Rebuild of Morroc - [llllllllll 0%] New Indoors - [llllllllll 0%] New Dungeon - [llllllllll 0%] New NPCs and quests Improbable (- New items? - Need to learn spriting, do not expect anything) - more informations about the norse mythologie - ... I'm neutral to this. Though, it would be cool to see more different characters on the server. Styling ability would be greater (thought, we have already many colors for each class). But still...

Mh, good idea! I think that's the right place. Haha Without considering some hardcore PKer in the abyss03(lol), I say the server is really nice! Had some nice talks to people and I also noticed that some of them are really helpful to newbies(especially those who never played RO before). Quests are cool. And it's a bonus point for the server that they have their own Episodes! Heard that the GM's are really nice, which is rare in my opinion. Hope to have a talk to them soon.~ @Procastinate: Yeah, noticed already some friendly people here. Ah, thanks! As I said before, I hope to find new ideas for mapping. Hahaha Also, I would love to talk to fRO's Mapper. Nowadays it is hard to find them in RO. Having some mind-exchanges with him would be for sure really interesting. Heh~

@-Si-: Oh I see! That's cool too. Well, in general I love to do such things. Mapped for many games, but Ragnarok is; and will be, my favorite game for playing and mapping. Problem is just to have good ideas. I'm rather the one who maps project like. Maybe I'm allowed to open somewhere on this forum a Map-Thread? Would be great!

I agree to Shinos said words. Player should not forget that younger people have more time than older one, while the older people do have the money but no time. And those who have time and money, they help the server by donating as Shino said. I'm not a donator, but I can understand somes peoples situation and the benefits of donations in general. Kinda different story would be, if the donations are much stronger as the normal items a player can receive in a normal way. But I contain my-self of this since I don't know the servers donations.

Hi silence, when you open your patch, does your antivirus do any actions? This might be the reason why you can't patch the fRo. I had a similiar problem; my patcher got deleted by the antivirus program so I wasn't able to patch either. If you antvirus is doing any action, you should go into its options and move the fRO patcher into the antivirus exceptions. Maybe this might help.

My god, I saw this episode on facebook right now. I can't wait to enter these dungeons with my guilde / party and see all the self-custom made maps! It seems like this time I joined the right server. You put a lot of effort in it which other server unfortunaley don't do. Great! I can't wait to see more of your own made stuff and I'm awaiting new fabulous items / maps / episodes /etc.. Keep it up!

Hi there, I'm Onosaki and I'm 20 years old. Playing Ragnarok already about 8 years which of course, contains some break-times. A friend showed me this server and to be honest, I'm positively surprised about it, since it has a well working system and the Admins / GameMasters are nearly every day available(go 25), that's rare and commendable(though, first let's see how their mood is haha). Right now I don't know much more about this server, but I think I will stay here for a while and check it out - maybe this might be my so long searched 'mother-server'? HaHa About my-self there are some things to say, especially about my RO-life. I speak about 4 languages properly, which are: german, english, serbish and japanese. I can also understand some other languages, but these are not really considerable. About my time in Ragnarok... well, it is pretty colorful. There is nothing I've been not in this time: From player up to GameMaster. From Admin up to a mapper, which I stayed to be till today. I love it to map Ragnarok Maps and I have mapped a bunch of them, but unfortunaley, nearly all of my maps got for an unknown reason lost, so I have just two maps - which aren't my best work - I can show you guys: Without lights(since it's an old map): Map with lights(new one, finally I understood the usage of lights): I do wonder how many custom maps ForsakenRO contains. At least I can see that some maps got some kind of a remap, which are a success. *smiles* What I'm also doing is making my own RO-sprites for the ragnarok maps, like having some maps mapped in a modern way. Luckily I have these maps, but first I need to rebuild the source from them to be able to post it in this thread. Yes, considering this post, I've done many things in the mapping-rubric but I also made many NPC's in the past. Though, my knowledge about scripting is nowadays questionable. hahaha Well, I guess that's all for now. If you have any questions, just ask me.
