Yes, you can either purchase items from the token shop or try to save up tokens and buy them from players in game. You can also donate for tokens, too. But the easiest way is to just donate for the items directly in the token shop.

The normal token does not have an npc trader. The normal token is the main economy for the server. Such as buying an legendary weapon from people for like 30tokens is an example. Or you could also sell tokens for zeny. Tokens is just like zenies. Tokens are meant to use to buy items from people with or sellf items for tokens.
