Lucius Posted January 24, 2009 Report Posted January 24, 2009 Instead, why don't you play a sin the way it's supposed to be played? And if you're good enough to play it the way it's SUPPOSED TO BE PLAYED, you'll win? And if you suck, just drop dead & improvise. Instead of using tactics that other classes are meant to use. Using coma is just an escapist-like attitude. The way it's supposed to be played is the way that kills your opponent and wins battles, right? If that tactic was for other classes, then why could Thieves use the weapon Edge or the card Lord of Death?
Guest icy Posted January 24, 2009 Report Posted January 24, 2009 Agreed. Winning a battle in ~5 yggs is pwn. Idc I'll still use coma. :] I'll use every possible resource I have to win. That means I'll use coma however "noob" it is. Yay! I'm not the only nub here ;]

Your statements have absolutely no connection. y But, I'm sure you know how ideal sin's work. High Damage, Swiftness. Ideally. :) And for your second statement. That's only to semi-balance the game. =]
Anarii Posted January 24, 2009 Report Posted January 24, 2009 The ideal for any class is to win the battle. Simple as that.
Guest Theory Posted January 24, 2009 Report Posted January 24, 2009 The ideal for any class is to win the battle. Simple as that. Escapist. Fail.

Ideally. :) And for your second statement. That's only to semi-balance the game. =] You haven't proved how my statements have no connection. Also, your matter of ideal sin's work is only an opinion that obviously isn't widely accepted. As for my second statement, it stands firm and you have no way to prove it incorrect. Aliot Card [swordman, Merchant, Thief Class] STR + 2, Maximum HP + 5% [Mage, Acolyte, Archer Class] INT + 2, Maximum SP + 5% - Why can't the Mage/Acolyte/Archer have +5% HP from it instead? Because it's not meant for the class, it's been programmed originally by Gravity to not work like that. Lord of Death Card Add a 0.1% chance of auto casting 'Coma' on an enemy. Add a 5% chance of auto casting 'Stun, Curse, Silence, Poison or External Bleeding' on the enemy when attacking. - It has no class restriction, why? Because every class can use it, it's a tactic for every class. Edge (The weapon) An one-handed sword with an extremely sharp blade that can cause the Coma effect by low chance. Places Curse effect on its target by a 3% chance. used by: Swordman Merchant Thief Knight Blacksmith Assassin Crusader Rogue Alchemist - If it's not meant for Assassin Cross, then why do they allow it?
Guest icy Posted January 24, 2009 Report Posted January 24, 2009 Damn Mike, you really waste your time typing that out just to explain it to him >.>
Lucius Posted January 24, 2009 Report Posted January 24, 2009 I just drunk Red Bull so I'm hyper and I gotta get bored to get sleepy + have the sugar crash for tonight. &I barely typed anything, it looks long 'cause I Copy+Pasted lmao.
Guest Theory Posted January 24, 2009 Report Posted January 24, 2009 No one said it wasn't allowed. And if I remember - Insane - said "noob" tactic. It seems, you haven't understood my argument. Disheartening. Using coma on a Sin is an escapist - like attitude. Also, your matter of ideal sin's work is only an opinion that obviously isn't widely accepted. ( referring to the bold words ) : ur kidding urself with that one.

Disheartening. Using coma on a Sin is an escapist - like attitude. ( referring to the bold words ) : ur kidding urself with that one. You don't get my statements. You said that Assassin Crosses aren't supposed to be played with Coma, so if they aren't supposed to be played with Coma, then why is it enabled in the first place? Should you, a player, decide how the class is supposed to be played when the original creators were Gravity? Using Coma on a Sin is versatility, a way to finish your enemy faster, if I'm not mistaken, that is the goal in PvP anyways, correct? As to your comment towards my statement Also, your matter of ideal sin's work is only an opinion that obviously isn't widely accepted. I am not kidding myself with that one, as a matter of fact I see myself correct, one of those opposing your view of how an Assassin Cross should be played is me as a matter of fact. Assassin Crosses shouldn't then use shields, right? Then why do they use them at times? They shouldn't really use Swords, so why do some use them? Assassin Crosses weren't originally meant to even battle with 195 ASPD, it's a private server thing, then why do we do it here? In iRO they were meant to dish out one blow that would end the enemy hence living up to their "Assassin" based name. Example, an Assassin Cross is hiding, it'll leave the hiding state and kill the enemy before he/she can retaliate. You keep thinking inside of the box.

xBiscuit Posted January 24, 2009 Author Report Posted January 24, 2009 point is. coma isn't noob for sinxes. it's pure knowledge, skill, and tactic. if, you don't use it. YOUR THE NOOB.
Defiance Posted January 24, 2009 Report Posted January 24, 2009 I use coma on all my classes, but mainly against LOW HP characters that like to default Usako and 2h weapons. My forte are swordsman classes (LK, Paladin. Medium-high damage, mid tier range.) but people doesn't really complain about getting coma'd since they use it too. Clowns use Tarot coma, does that mean they're unskilled? When we get coma'd, its something we laugh about since its a something we die from because of carelessness.
Guest icy Posted January 24, 2009 Report Posted January 24, 2009 point is. coma isn't noob for sinxes. it's pure knowledge, skill, and tactic. if, you don't use it. YOUR THE NOOB. Please teach me how to be pro with coma!
Defiance Posted January 24, 2009 Report Posted January 24, 2009 Please teach me how to be pro with coma! Make them believe you're still using your damage weapon, then quickly switch edge in between battles. Lulz.
Guest Theory Posted January 24, 2009 Report Posted January 24, 2009 liek wow.. we got a lotta coma nubs here. tl;dr anyway. coma, iz for skill-less people. toodles.
Millenia Posted January 24, 2009 Report Posted January 24, 2009 i dont visit this thread for one day and look what happens. christ, people.
Guest icy Posted January 24, 2009 Report Posted January 24, 2009 liek wow.. we got a lotta coma nubs here. tl;dr anyway. coma, iz for skill-less people. toodles. So why can't we say people that got coma are nub for not switching to gtb
xBiscuit Posted January 24, 2009 Author Report Posted January 24, 2009 So why can't we say people that got coma are nub for not switching to gtb win c-c-c-combo!~ i think we all get the point. stop complaining about stupid shit.
-Insane- Posted January 24, 2009 Report Posted January 24, 2009 Cuz you can't always switch to gtb, however you can always switch to coma. Doing less damage won't hurt anybody, however receiving more can and will.
Lucius Posted January 24, 2009 Report Posted January 24, 2009 You can unless it's stripped or you left it in storage. Durrrrhurrrhurr. If Coma is for noobs, then dying to it is just ridiculously noobish, consider the fact that you should quit RO instead.
xBiscuit Posted January 24, 2009 Author Report Posted January 24, 2009 yeah, mike wins also. damage = berries coma > berries
-Insane- Posted January 24, 2009 Report Posted January 24, 2009 damage = berries Welcome to iRO, we now have EDP.
