Why not make one mall for majority of your buying needs?
Take the mall place (or whatever you want to call it) at top left of fcity,
put it together with donation room, put event items npc in it, and make a big old npc in the middle of town for everyone to see.
Only allow vending\pubs(for trading) in that room too.
Crack down on people, enforce it and everyone will vend there.
Make it a big room too, so if you ever need something it could all be in one big room.

maybe enlarge that top left mall by like...10 times literarily...then that may replace the vending mall?

generally i think trading/vending/malls here have been a bit sloppy and unorganized...the npcs in the mall are just to crowded and hard to aim.

but im sure gengen is doing the best he can and props to him for that. /no1

Maybe make a decent sized room and just have the npcs go in a giant square follow the walls. Then allow venders to be inside of the square, but to keep like 4 squares away from NPCS

In the beginning there was Merchant Mall and the NPC mall.

Most of the server went by the rules and only set up vends

in the Merchant Mall. I don't remember the names but 2 nabs

set up shop in the NPC mall ... a few days later they doubled

... a few more days later everyone abandoned the Merchant

Mall because the rules weren't enforced. After a few weeks of

this we were asked to design or think of a better/bigger place

to move Merchant Mall to but nothing ever came of it because

it wasn't that big of a problem.

Prontera is not the Merchant Mall!

Morocc is not the Merchant Mall!

The NPC mall is not the MERCHANT MALL!

Not like any vendors will ever look at this because just by looking

at their shops you can tell they haven't played long or they're

just looking to rip off new people.

There was a rule about being within a certain range of an NPC

but hardly anyone enforces it.

Try designing a room for the Mall and present it to Gen and

maybe he'll reset those mapflags so they can't vend there

anymore.
