-Insane- Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 The way I see it, wizards and profs are meant to force the enemy to use GTB, so a champ can asura them. (WoE) A wizard is one of the best supporting classes here, since they force the enemy to wear GTB, or at least strong shield and elemental resist gear, and if you get really lucky the enemy freezes as well. Wizards can still deal insane amounts of damage here, since agi reduces the skill animation duration, so low-delay skills like JT, and some others if you have kiels, can be spammed insanely fast. Get their gtb off, force them to use usakoring by having a champ to support you, then hit them hard at the right moment. EDIT: I forgot to mention, I only use GTB when either a wiz is SGing me to freeze so his champ bud can asura me (I can still survive a GTB asura naturally, being a paladin, so the case above doesn't apply here, but then again paladins are naturally hard to kill), or somebody lame is comaing me (especially clowns.. good thing my GTB is on an unbreakable shield).

HAHAHAHAHAHAA. ....Indeed.... You only gtb to prevent people from hurting you in a pvp area. Maybe the problem isn't the magic user, but the fact you're in a pvp area? Annoying ninjas? Yes. Quite. Well, it might be time to stop using a money consuming character to level in lhz. I can level 20-30 people from level 1 to reborn 255/255 in just a bit over half an hour. With my professor. In Lhz. Lol? Also, I would love a money drop in price of AD bottles. ;~;

EDIT: Oh and I forgot another thing. There's something else you can use to pwn professors. Pwn them even harder than GTB pwns them. Private chat works to a degree, but not when you have people sititng in you, too close to you and chatting it up, guild chat, regular chat, and private chat all scrolling. for_fild01 is usually pretty chill, it's just the retards who warp in, hit, warp out that get annoying, I don't mind PVPing in fields, but warping in, hitting someone once and then leaving doesn't even come close to qualifying. Vit belts? I never really got into playing Prof. or Wiz. (I had one of each on iRO, but eh, long story.) I don't even use GTB when I'm being SG'd, I'll take the damage with an Unfrozen. I like playing creator /facepalm. I don't care that the bottles cost a lot of zenny. I work full-time and have five classes that I'm taking at the moment, I have things to sell, just need to find the time. They really do need to lower the price of those bottles. Even with discount it's really expensive. I like leveling people in LHZ, because I'm able to pick up poison bottles for my friends who need it. I like to multi task.

Also for_fild is just a duplicate of prontera fields. Like the scenery? Go there. Also, thank the lord Profs have ONE single AoE spell. Heaven's Drive. AoE isn't affected by reflect. All it takes is one reflected bolt for me to learn that lesson.

Great idea huh?" a card that tones magic down is one thing...but one that gives immunity regardless of element...i'll never understand why someone would find something like this fair T.T @Ryoji...such true in these words...lots of investment in hope of someday maybe be able to fight fairly and the single card is all that is needed to simply break it all at once AND...profs actually have two AoE spells...Thunder Storm FtW XD i don't think AD bottles are bad as they are tho; 1 coupon 30~40 mill zenny...i think it gives more than 100 each...pretty affordable, and @autoloot usually covers any expenses while leveling with AD :3

I wouldn't complain about the SG spam drive-by if people would actually stay and fight. contrary to popular belief a lot of people out there on that field don't tote around GTB's because they need to protect against a bigger threat. i.e asura. Professors got jipped with the one AOE spell thing, but that's not really fRO's fault. A lot of classes are like that. I mean come on, there are some that seriously are rend3ered completely useless because even with high str etc. their damage is still crap. I can't even play my baby novice oh lawdy. I've never really been big on mage classes anyway when it comes to private servers, so my opinion is a bit bias. @ Sorrow. I'm pretty sure when they made the card they intended it to be mostly used for PvM. Who trades coupons for zenny? That is so lame. It's a waste of a coupon lawl.

Although, if I get a sponsor, I'll fight for free and supply all my own items except AD bottles. And you'll instantly get yourself one of the best creators in the game on your team for just that. =] Yeah, cause I love playing creators too. Actually, I wouldn't mind if Gtb only worked on AoE spells. That way you'd be forced to switch back and forth between gtb and reflect equips to be completely immune. What'cha think sorrow?

Creators are fine :3 i'm thinking that's probably the one char i wana make my secondary XD That actually would be perfect :3 GTB vs Aoe and Maya Vs single, it would give magicians the ability to cause havoc at least :3 instead of going Q.Q

XD Till then we can just keep ranting...it relieves the frustration xD
