How about we get some people who think they are the best at a class, make a bet (maybe a donation or more depending on how confident they are.) Agree on the rules of the duel, I'll record it and post it on youtube. And to avoid people expecting duels constantly, there should be a week wait to duel the champion of that certain class. I don't know I just thought of this out of the blue... Rewards of this. You can make a bet, and if you win become richer. Bragging rights. And if people want to they can even bid if they aren't in the duel and become more e-rich :) End the bull of whose best and it would be one more good thing to do in this game. GM support would be nice to ensure people don't back out of there bids. So if you're in, tell me the class and your bid, And I'll arrange everything and hopefully this is another decent attractions. P.S. the is in rough draft form, I still plan to expand on this, so ideas and opinions on this please.

I didn't see a rule against real money, but who would want to do that.. So if someone really wanted to and if its allowed I guess O_o But lets try to stick to in game items.

First up, I will fight any other WS for 10 Donation copouns. I will also fight any other Palladin fro 10 Donation copouns I will also also fight any other Gunslinger for 10 Donation copouns. but w/e?

And I said it can be both to zenny or items I guess if people are scared to challenge with higher stakes. I was hoping like a donation lol. And any challenges against tick? And if this is a total failure of a idea, then obviously who wins isn't the best.

This won't shorten fights, but make them more intense, people will have to use the things they have in a more thoughtful way than just recklessly spam skills in order to win. I'm quite sure a lot people will be against this idea, but it's just a suggestion anyway.

Posted September 30, 2008 Report Posted September 30, 2008 Well, I suggested a 1 on 1 bracket, single elimination pvp tounament hosted once a month to Genesis quite some time ago, but he opposed the idea since it took alot of time - not really - to manage or for a lack of a better word, accomplish. This, however, is much easier to manage, needless to say that the presence of a GM is absolutely necessary as the unbiased judge whom will be - holding the prize gathered from both parties and also the side-show bidders. The duel must take place inside the LMS map since deals, and @storage commands does not work. With that said, I'd like to announce that I'm all game if the above conditions are met. Amount Betting: 100-1000* coupons against any class, the amount varies depending on whom my opponent is. *: If the amount is over 500 coupons, it'll be the best out of 3 matches. GoodLuck! ^_^

Examples: Sinx vs Sinx - Ygg spamming skills and luck Pally vs Pally - Luck, in the rarest cases sacrifice can actually kill Wizard vs Wizard - Whoever strips GTB first, unless one side makes the stupid error of not using stave crasher reducing gears Creator vs Creator - Whoever runs out of yggs first. For added lulz a creator could go 0 vit and pwn everybody (yay FCP+GTB) Champ vs Champ - Luck/Timing/Spamming skills The list goes on

In other words, lag = your death. On my pally even if I lag I can survive for a good deal since the lag spike will probably end BEFORE they can figure out why they're doing crappy damage, eg. switching elements. Luck: Not sure about this one, but I think if both sides have full asura damage gear, preferably without tanees, they can kill the other side even if they use GR + two devis + tao. In which case it's whoever asuras first. Spamming skills: If it boils down to investigate and FO, spamming skills since both sides should have reduction gears.
