Maus Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 ok so ive gotten use to mvping and all thanks to your guys help but im having problem with 2 one is gloom i just cant hit him i dun know why and the other one is beezle bub he hits me insansely hard do you guys have any suggestionss that might help me?
Ethereal Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 First of all, Gloom Under Night is a ghost monster, so use any other element than ghost. Or if you're already using a different element, then you may not have enough hit. So hits like Asura Strike will not affect GUN. So I'd suggest what Godrevy said over there.
Defiance Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 Wait, I thought Ghost does the best damage to Ghost property? Well, other elements work too but if you're using a sniper, then Ghost property works the best for Ghost monsters, meaning to say Immaterial Arrows. Here's a guide to elemental property tables from Rate My Server to fully explain the different elemental strengths and weaknesses. http://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=misc_table_attr When you search for an MVP, type @mi <monster name> to find its natural element so you can formulate which counter element works best for that certain monster. Its not just for MVPing, its good for PvP too. Its not like you can always catch a certain MVP with asura right? I hope this helps.

Ethereal Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 Wait, I thought Ghost does the best damage to Ghost property? Thanks for correcting me, I meant to say neutral. It was late at that time when I posted, so I wasn't thinking properly. So thanks again. :]
Maus Posted September 16, 2008 Author Report Posted September 16, 2008 i was talking about on my champ :|
hindsight Posted September 17, 2008 Report Posted September 17, 2008 You can't change asura's property, it is always neutral no matter what. The same goes for skills like acid demonstration and sacrifice, so you'll just have to find another way, and probably another class, to kill those MVPs.
Maus Posted September 17, 2008 Author Report Posted September 17, 2008 heh well luckily i already got a mvp sniper
