Here's Godspeed.

If you can't remember me, I'm the one-shot player back in April-May. Though I'm not big in PvP I've been helping a bunch of folks back then.

I'm having a ball in the outside world and stay off any online games and do not frequent any game whatsoever. Me and my band has gone far enough to launch some put-together rough demos and would start our career real soon. So anyway, if you have a knack for metal (and not just buzz saw guitars and pig squeals), check out our MySpace!

The Anemone is your Enemy - MySpace

I can only humbly present you the demos since we all know it needs to be revamped in some ways. Although, it's a good deal for live recording.

Attn: Hrist

Although my account is preserved as I simply quit cold turkey, I think that I'd never go back to frequent fRO again. Therefore I'd like you to help yourself to all my humble assets; in both accounts...but with a condition. As newbies like me would take some time catching the flow of getting the money and getting the gears and so on. I'd like you to take what you need to comfortably go around and give off, little by little, my assets to the needy. I've quite some decent non-elites (which you won't be using) so that'd be good, save the nicest newbie my hard-earned valk helm, though.

Seek me out in MSN, I'll give you the pass in our next encounter. Thanks.

Dude, I love the intro to From Delusion We Arise. I can see that you guys had a lot of influence from As I Lay Dying. You guys have a nice vocalist. I'd love to hear you guys play that song on album quality sometime. Good luck in life, send me some of your songs sometime. However, I must say that I'm not so interested in the other song. I'm not saying it's bad, I'm saying it's not my taste. Still, I usually hate songs that mix between soft and hard vocals. Anyways, that's just my opinion. Oh, and mind if I ask the lyrics? I'd like to see what style you guys play. I'm seeing between Hardcore and Nu Metal.

For some inspirations, try listening to Carnal Forge's Burning Eden for some thrash-like music with some soft vocals. Some of Disturbed's songs for their lyrical abilities, diction and maybe rifts? Hypocrisy's Eraser for some ideas for a hard vocal - soft song.

Iron Maiden (who doesn't like Iron Maiden :(?) Metallica's Death Magnetic album (Has a lot of mid vocals and decent rifts + thrash wannabe sounds). Slipknot's Psychosocial (has a similar sound to yours in terms of soft chorus). Finally, Soilwork's Exile for the amazing chorus that just feels so empowering!

Try some of those, you might like some even! Those are just some suggestions to your style of music that you chose. GL and hope to see you big sometime (don't forget to give me a thank you if you do ever get big :) I'd love it).

Re: Terminus' post.

Actually, if you click on the "lyrics" link just below the song name the lyrics would pop up. "From Delusion We Arise" stands to a political motive, if you know what's going on in Thailand. While "Your Eyes" is rather a serenade than a heavy song.

From what you said I'd say taste is a bit different. I don't take Metallica/Slayer/Iron Maiden as my inspirations but I treat them with respect nonetheless. I love Metallica, but there're quite some bands trying to be Neo-metallica *cough*Trivium*cough*. That said, it means I'm not much into Heavy metal(in its narrow context), Thrash and Glam. Disturbed has killer riffs and nice creativity to their song alike, but as I listened to their two songs of the latest album there seems to be no new elements aside from 10kfists or the older immortal singles whatsoever so it turned quite a bit stale.

Anyway, I listen to quite a lot of Finnish franchise and Prog/Symphonic/Power and some more melodic Death/Black as well...as well as Metalcore/Deathcore and Emo. So I'd like to base my influence on those genres. My aim is actually Melodic/Metalcore/Mathcore(prog elements) in the metal department and leave a space to experiment with other stuff. But that's a long way to go, we've just been turned down on a record deal, lol.

Well, if you want to take a look at my approach at metal, try Misery Signals, Dimmu Borgir and Chimaira.

lol, can i be a critic?

hmm, basically you can hear alot of stray influence of post-hardcore, hardcore and metalcore from the riffs the guitar adlib was ok, atleast you guys didnt go off the scale/key you were playing, yeah i can hear alot of nu-metal stuff too, but i hope you can focus more into a more sold genre be it metalcore/post-hardcore/melodic deathmetal atleast it could be easily grasped by people, being too technical often leaves the listeners puzzled and may lead them to get bored..well that only IMO :)

btw, i love misery signals!! haha, used to listen alot on the song Five Years and the whole album ofcourse but after i heard the new one, damn i began to hate it :(

LOL, the EYES of MY SALVATION sounds alot like MISERY SIGNALS ending song!!!! OMG LOL

listen to alot of metalcore and prog :)

hope to hear more of your demos

Hrist here. I've listened to your demos and I could say that its been a gut-busting good time listening to your stuff. Nice to see you drop by. There has been so much that's happened here, and although you missed some of them, its a good thing you're having a blast out there. Good luck to you in becoming a pro musician someday. Get out there and make us proud. Listening to your songs is like a very special treat for all of us here, especially me. Man, you're destined for greatness.

Best regards from me... Hrist/Jerry/Whatever you wanna call me. ;D

I'll go on MSN later, so talk to yah soon.
