UnforgivenIII Posted August 23, 2008 Report Posted August 23, 2008 fRO error handler is popping up when i click start on the patcher window... it says update the forsaken patcher and kro.. i did updated them few minutes ago and then i tried to play the game... when i click start it takes me back to desktop and the same error pops up.. i have another RO server but it is installed in another folder.. and im not having any problems like this on that server... should i remove the other server and re install fro? i downloaded the all-in-one package... id really like to play to your server... thanks in advance.. this is the text from the error... Sensation Posted August 23, 2008 Report Posted August 23, 2008 Did you also update sakray, you didn't say you did, just kRO. Update sakray if you haven't done so, if that doesn't work, I'd like to have a screenshot (of your folder) to gain a little more info.
UnforgivenIII Posted August 23, 2008 Author Report Posted August 23, 2008 oh ok.. im gonna update my sakray... sorry i think slow right now cause i just got home from work.. and thanks for helping... my sakray didnt update... i updated it before i deleted the fpatch file... btw i didnt see any fpatch.ini on my folder but i deleted the fpatch thing.. then i updated the fkRO where can i see my screenshot images?? ok.. heres the screen shot of my fkRO folder http://s358.photobucket.com/albums/oo23/dr...printscreen.jpg
Sensation Posted August 23, 2008 Report Posted August 23, 2008 In your RO folder -> ScreenShot folder. Uploading can be done at imageshack, photobucket, tinipic and others. Also, edit your posts instead of triple posting ^^
Sensation Posted August 25, 2008 Report Posted August 25, 2008 In setup.exe take a look if full screen is enabled, if it is, toggle it off, it causes problems in vista sometimes. Also check if the right drivers are selected. The error handler referres to a file that isn't/shouldn't be in your folder, quite strange, it might be that your windows libary files are outdated (fix: windows update/get a newer version of kernel32.dll, can be googled).
