`asdf Posted July 31, 2008 Report Posted July 31, 2008 i dont have a problem with melee classes as i can see a way around them but i seriously have no idea how a sniper beats a pala/champ. sacrifice is like a one hit KO and champs constantly pneuma. I try to trap but that doesnt do jack either. so tell me, is there actually a way to beat them using a sniper?

Aight for the killing part Get some strip card that strip shield, Armour and etc. And go DS build i think you should pawn them <3
Seriously Serious Posted July 31, 2008 Report Posted July 31, 2008 Some things you can do against Paladin is to probably snare/skid trap -> arrow shower-> just..don't let him hit you, be as far as you can from him, or call a friend, maybe a Creator. Try using LoD bows too. If he calls you noob for ganging, just laugh and type /kis. As for smart champs, shockwave trap could have brought you to the upper hand but this is a YGG Berry spam server so it wouldn't work. But some lolchamps tend to forget Pnuema, take that as a chance to spam DS. I've never tried using a Sniper here, but afaik, even a Sniper wearing a Usakoring F. Shield wouldn't survive an Asura. FO Spam could probably kill you in a few seconds too. Hazard is one of those lolpaladins, I wouldn't take advise from him.

Snipers can survive with shield quite well, skolls are needed too (thana TSS champs). Flee > FO, most champs have only instant cast + phreeoni, which is about 550-570 hit. Snipers have a good agility bonus and also a flee buff (wind walk), if you're about 100 flee above the other his/her hit rating, you will still be hit, but just very low. Keep in mind that more agi is less vit, vit means more survivability, but less flee, try to find a balance in there. Stripping snipers work very well, so do the traps (you can skid trap yourself too you know). DS has the advantage of not being able to be Rooted (Blade Stopped) and it's burst damage. Paladins is just a hit and run fight, you just need to outlast them, wait till they slack a bit, buffs wear off and you catch them off-guard with stripping. Try to avoid them instead if possible.

Paladins are easy as hell to beat on a Sniper, make a Drooping Wild Rose...7% chance to strip shield, there goes defender..as for Auto-Guard, when it activates it is annoying yes, but it also stops their movement, if you wear a whikebain, Wild Rose, and Metaling, you will destroy damn near any class, because of your high dex, you'll likely actually strip them before they even reach you, prove me wrong? =P P.S. The good thing about stripping is, once you do that to them, they mainly give up and just let you kill them so they can wear their gear again. Oh the satisfaction <3

Hardly anyone FCP's themselves, and if they do, they fail at pvp because they don't rely on their own strength. You can't seriously say "I'm good because I FCP myself", can you?
