Edit: The first story posted has 6,782 words for the record :D

I'm a big literature person, I love writing stories about my friends, weather they be real life friends or RO friends. Unfortunatly, the files I kept my real life friends's story in disappeared -_-; I'm trying to find it, but no luck yet. If I find them I'll post them ._.;

As for RO stories, I actually only have one that I really go into. I started a bunch but the ideas were just confusing and I got stuck in the plot. It happened in this one too but my friends never gave up on me, they kept encouraging me to write more, so I did! I never got to finish though..Something happened to us...I can't finish it now. It's a long story as to what happened, but I won't bother you with that [yet]. Here's the RO story I wrote [but never finished unfortunatly]. Also, a little insight on the characters:

Amy: Myself [RL name]

Cathie: Best friend [...]

Saria/Chrissy: Best friend

Steven: Cathie's RL boyfriend/plays RO

Jack: Best friend

Vince: Steven/Cathie/My good friend

Note: This is the unrefined version, I haven't looked over it very well, there's probably some obvious typos and such.

Only Here for You

Dedicated to the following people:

Matt, Hah you'll see.

Cathie, Soul Sister forever and always.

Steven, Just a great friend always, no matter how bad things seem.

Jack, Can always make me laugh.

Vince, My rice man xDD

Chrissy, I love you Chrissy :3

Andreia, you've been a great support for my writing. Thanks

Chapter One: A beginning.

Looking in at the scene, it looks simple enough, two teenagers running around upon the crunching grass, taking in the fresh spring air. But in terms of reality, it’s much more than that.

“C’mon…let’s move Amyyy~ You’re taking forever. You’re never gonna’ beat Daddy’s Whitesmith skills if you just laze around all day!†called the running girl, with her black hair swimming in the breeze.

“Yes, yes I’m coming, Cathie. Calm down…†said the other girl, Amy, as she lethargically walked towards her sister, Cathie, who picked up an axe and some odd looking bottles that were cast aside. “Go get your axe, the training begins!†Cathie shouted, already running ahead.

So the two trained on, despite the fact that Amy wanted nothing but to sleep, they were both determined to become transcendent before their birthday. When they were at the point their legs could hardly support them, and the crisp spring air was becoming dark and filled with little beams of light twinkling down upon them, they went inside their home.

Now, once again, looking at the scene from a distance, your jaw would drop. They walked casually inside, but this was not your ordinary house. It was the size of a castle. Well, for good reason, it was a castle.

“Ah. Good Evening. How are you two today?†was their immediate welcoming from their uncle, Jack.

“The usual, of course.†Said Cathie, dropping her empty bottles on the floor, but without another word, the two girls walked inside of the Main Hall to find two men chatting, one in whispers, and one in a large booming voice.

“Father!†the girls shouted in unison running towards the man and embracing him in a choking hug. “Girls, girls! Calm down! Besides, we have company! Here, I’d like to introduce you two to our guest.â€

Chapter Two: The Stranger

A sharp turn of the head, a blank stare, and words that did not reach her; that is what her reaction was to seeing this mysterious stranger for the younger of the girls. He simply looked at the two girls, and smiled politely and bowed.

“Hello, Princesses Cathie and Amy.†but as he said her name, Cathie had a cool, tingling sensation travel down her spine. Out of courtesy, Amy replied kindly

“Hello there…er…do you have a name…?†while smiling, slightly embarrassed to ask.

“Oh how rude of me, my name is Steven.†He replied, now looking at Cathie.

The three of them felt the awkwardness of the situation; the king, Steven, and Amy, all stared at Cathie who was wearing a bewildered expression of amazement simply starring at the stranger. The king broke the silence, and nudged his daughter a few times.

“Er—Cathie? You two should head to bed now. Sleep well girls!†his big booming voice echoed as Amy dragged her sister by the arm.

“Now who’s the one who needs to wake up?†Amy said after Cathie had finally regained her thought process.

“Wow…there’s just…something about that Steven guy…wow…†mumbled Cathie, Amy could hear her, but she ignored her because she could tell Cathie didn’t mean to be heard.

The sisters went to sleep without another word, or at least, Cathie pretended to be asleep. She was about to doze off after many thoughts of this Steven person, and his kind smile, but she heard some tapping in the hallway.

“What is that?â€She thought, obviously, curiosity over came her, and she got up to see what it was that was ruining this pensive silence. She looked down that hallway, she could see nothing, but she could still hear it. Footsteps. No doubt about it. She was tip-toeing through the hall, praying she wasn’t caught, when she realized the only footsteps she could now here were her own. She looked around, and in a distant patch of light from the skylights in the ceiling that shined moonlight upon the eerie hallway, she saw a door slightly creaked open. She did not move, however, she whispered to herself.

“Is this really worth it…?†but she knew in her heart that curiosity would force her to go in the door, so she did not deny the fact much longer. Cathie peeked through the crack that was already located in the door, but, knowing her, she clumsly fell into the room, face first.

“Oww...†she groaned, looking up to see a frozen scene; darkness engulfed her, a small round light increased the magnitude of the beautiful ancient coin that was grasped in the sweaty palm of a stranger. No, the stranger. And then there was silence…

Chapter Three: Whispering, Secrets Told Softly Upon Deaf Ears

At this point, if you had just walked into the scene of perfecting starring between these two, you would probably be able to hear their hearts pounding against their ribs. Cathie could hear hers. It clouded her thoughts. She tried to mouth some words, but they were lost in her throat. Steven dared not move a muscle, though it doesn’t exactly surprise me, if you’ve just been caught by someone in a royal family when you were stealing an artifact that maintained the balance of all of Rune Migard, would you move? So he remained, and Cathie could tell. It was her time to act. At this point she thought thinking about what to do was meaningless. She let her emotions take over.

Cathie glided toward his frozen body, slowly approaching, closer…closer… her mouth was next to his ear now. In the slightest whisper, neither of them breathed.

“I like you…I love you…I really love you.†It came out softer than the very silence that engulfed them. Steven finally chose to move, and their noses met. They starred into the other’s eyes for not even a minute, but it seemed like an eternity of perfection, the very air forgot to move.

In the back of her mind, she wondered why she was about to kiss this man, this stranger, whom she didn’t know. But her heart new exactly why. This man was more than just a man. This stranger was more than just a stranger. He was, he is, exactly what she had dreamed of.

The next morning, she awoke in a daze.

“Ugh what a dream…†Cathie groaned to Amy who was already up and getting ready for training.

“So…Where did you go last night? Don’t play stupid either. I could hear you leave the room.†Amy said casually.

Cathie, though surprising after how much she had done the night previous, froze. How did she know?!

Was she going to tell father…?

“I can tell what you’re thinking. No I won’t tell anyone. I’m your sister, it’s not like I want you to get into trouble. Just be careful.†Amy said, embracing her sister in a hug. Cathie hugged back, she couldn’t believe it herself that what happened last night wasn’t a dream.

“I love you, Cathie. I’m just worried for you. Don’t get yourself into trouble.†I whispered in her ear.

Ah the whispering. How secretive.

Chapter Four: A New Face

Later in the chilly evening as Cathie’s and Amy’s training grinds to a halt, Cathie starts to regret what she had done. She was already nervous to a breaking point because she’s almost reached transcendent, but now, with the added pressure to keep everyone from finding out, she was at her limits. She threw a bottle carelessly and missed Amy by meters.

“What’s wrong with you today? Be more caref—“ but Amy had cut off as she bent down to pick up the bottle. There was a young woman sitting under a tree, right next to where the bottle had landed. She turned and looked at Cathie, who shook her head. Neither of them recognized her. She had a peculiar beauty, her hair was brown and to her shoulders, and she had the most perfect eyes. Eyes of which, were emotionless, deep in thought as she gazed into the branches above. Cathie, knowing now that meeting strangers can lead to unexpected things, approached her and asked in a stern voice “Who are you and what is your reason of being in the city of Louyang?â€

“Hmm…Well. Normally I don’t disclose such information, but because you are royalty in this land…†she did not speak another word. She rose, and leaned her hand against the tree, which immediately caught fire, but was soon put out, again, by this new face, absorbed into her very skin.

“My name is Saria, I come from Geffen. Pleased to make you acquaintance.†She held out her still fiery hand to shake the girls’ hands. But an intimidating fear crept from this stranger’s being, so none of them moved. Saria dropped her hand after a few minutes, not caring that she went without a greeting.

“Well then. I’m looking for Steven. I believe you’ve met him?†she added casually.

Cathie felt that chill again, just at the sound of his name.

“Umm. Yes. He stayed over night in the castle…allow me to escort you.†Amy added after giving it some thought. This girl, Saria, there was something about her. Something that just makes you crave to know more.

As the three of them entered the castle in an ill at ease silence, they saw the King and Steven talking once more, this time exchanging items.

“Oh! Oh! Welcome Girls!†the king shouted in his big booming voice.

“Good evening, Father,†Chimmed Amy, happy to see him.

“We have a guest. She was looking for Steven.†She motioned towards Saria.

Steven turned to see this stranger, but Cathie’s eyes caught his once more. They knew that the other was thinking about last night, and their little secret. She felt hot once more; dribbles of sweat trailed her back.

“Steven. Have you successfully made the trade?†Saria interjected, disturbing the silence.

“Er...uh...Yes, yes I have.†Finally letting his eyes roam to Saria.

"But...who are you exactly?†Steven inquired, he could tell that he had seen her before, but he was still awfully unsure of where and why.

“Oh. Me? I was told to sentence you to death.†And the fires rose around the five like walls of pure agony.

“Steven, you should know, if you play with fire, you’re bound to get burned.â€

Chapter Five: True Intentions

The temperature rose dramatically. All of them were looking directly at Saria, surprised to a ceaseless amount.

“What..what do you mean Miss? You have no right to do this, you know!†The king boomed, looking around at the roaring flames.

“Oh don’t I? When the government orders me to slay, I have not an objection.†And she started to aim in on Steven, who wasn’t fearful…but almost…?

“You would be surprised how well I can play with fire.†He replied, with a sinister grin, starring into her eyes. Preparing for the attack…almost praying for it.

“Wait..no..NO STOP!†Cathie began to scream, she ran between them,

“Stop it now! You’re just going to end up hurting each other!!†she pleaded desperately, Steven dropped his guard, but Saria had no mercy. She leaped over Cathie in a single jump, and grabbed Steven’s throat, lifting him into the air. Fire crept into a small circle around the two of them, waiting, waiting…just a bit more and he would be devoured by them.

“What is wrong with you...Honestly.†And everything stopped, everything ceased movement, everything. Jack had stumbled upon the scene and had put up a Bascillia.

“Bloody hell, stop acting like children.†And he freed Steven from Saria’s grasp.

“Don’t touch me; I came here with a job to do.†Saria snapped, brushing Jack’s hand off of her. But there was nothing she could do. The five of them were crammed into Jack’s Bascillia, and everyone knew Jack was too experienced to let it fall.

Later that day, the six of them crammed themselves into Amy and Cathie’s room, the King and Jack stood standing, along with a guard who was in the room to overlook things, while the rest remained sitting.

“Why did the government send you here, anyways?†Amy asked, looking into Saria’s emotionless eyes. There was silence. All of them stared at Saria, but only Amy looked into her eyes.

“Because…because they had been reported that Steven…had stolen something from the castle of Louyang. They didn’t tell me what.â€

Cathie and Steven both stiffened, they glanced at each other, and Cathie gave a swift nod, and they could hear the other's thoughts.

I won’t say anything. I promise.

Without another word for anyone sitting in the room, a guard was robbed of his weapon, and the words of a killer were spoken from Jack’s mouth.

“I’ll do what was best suited for you. Ruining me…I’m not sure how you found out. But I’ll tell you this much, you won’t tell anyone else.â€

Chapter Six: Screams.

It sunk and twisted, piercing not only their heart, but shattering the survivors heart’s with disbelieve. The King fell to the ground, grabbing his brother’s shoulder, panting, but smiling slightly.

“Clever. V—very clever…Haha…I never should have underestimated you…†and then there was a thunk, followed by silence.

The next twenty seconds passed by with extreme haste, Cathie and Steven rose together, Amy remained paralyzed, frozen to the ground. Saria gave a last glimpse at the scene before jumping from the nearest window and disappearing mid-drop.

“B—but…Jack…why?†Amy mumbled, not realizing she was sitting in a pool of her father’s blood.

“Because this coin,†Steven reached in his pocket and pulled out an ancient looking coin, with illegible writing etched into it.

“Controls everything.â€

“Haha so it is true, you filthy Rogue. I give you my kudos in disguising, however. You had even me fooled for awhile,†Jack said, his voice menacing.

“Ah, but I don’t believe you would expect this from a simple “priestâ€.†Jack added maliciously, his face was contorted, this was not the Uncle Cathie had known and loved.

The blood that was splattered all around the dark, confused room was staring to change? Black...? It had started to form around Jack's hand?

“Dammnit, run!†Steven shouted, but Amy could not move, Cathie reached out to grab her hand but she couldn’t even stray her eyes away from Jack’s. Something was happening to her, but...

“Cathie,†he lifted her right off her feet “I know what this is. Trust me. There’s nothing we can do for her at this point. Please, don’t look back.â€

“No…NO LET ME GO! THAT’S MY SISTER, DAMMNIT LET ME GO!†She tried to pull away, but it was too late. Cathie looked back into the room, all she could see was her sisters limp body float higher...higher…and then…A scream. It came spontaneously from Cathie and Amy’s mouths at the same time. Jack’s transformed hand had pierced through Amy’s body like an arrow through tissue paper. Blood spattered the walls, the floor, everything. But more than anything that the blood splattered, it was memories.

Chapter Seven: Arrival

He ran. She sobbed. They died. And there was nothing they could do. Cathie eventually passed out in Steven’s arm; she was so distraught because her direct family was now dead at the hands of her Uncle, and she had to witness all of it.

When she came to, she was on a boat that had just docked somewhere…?

“This is as far as I take you. Take anything from the ship you think can be helpful for you. I’m leaving for Payon after tonight, and you’re going to stay here.†Steven said, in a cool voice, escorting her out of the damp, small room she had been sleeping in. Their footsteps creaked as they walked, and Cathie’s brain was still half asleep.

“Was that real…? Did that really happen…?†These words fell out of her mouth before she could even grasp the fact her mouth was open, and now she regretted saying them. She didn’t even want to know the answer.

Cathie stepped off the boat trembling; Steven was a few paces ahead of her and she couldn’t feel more alone in the world.

“This…This is all YOUR fault…If you hadn’t taken that DAMNED COIN my family wouldn’t be dead.†She shouted suddenly running at Steven, but she crumbled in the effort to inflict him pain; when she said these words it proved them to be fact. She simply fell onto his chest crying. The sad part was, Steven knew this was true.

“I’m…er…sorry. But you don’t realize how important it was to take this. If I hadn’t taken it that night than…†but his voice trailed away, and Cathie had stopped crying; they were thinking the same thing again. They hadn’t been this close to each other since that night. They broke away from each other, thoroughly embarrassed, and Steven mumbled something incoherent about an Inn and a friend of his.

So they walked in silence for the next twenty minutes when they arrived at a little cozy place called “Alberta Inn†– simple enough. They walked in, Steven had a quick discussion with the Inn keeper, in which Cathie looked into a mirror that was hanging on the wall. She looked, surprisingly, normal. There was no blood, but she figured that was because she was farther away when her family had…No. She refused to think about that anymore. She knew. This is the present, that was the past, there’s no way she’s going to see them. Steven led the barely conscious girl into the room directed by the Inn Keeper, but they walked in to find someone.

“Oh damn, not again…†Cathie mumbled and ran behind Steven as the man sat up, and looked at the door to see these new comers.

“Do you have it?†the man said getting off of the bed and getting up to lean against the wall.

“Yes.â€

“The girl?†he asked, looking at her questioningly.

“I hadn’t a choice.â€

It was a quick conversation, where their mouth barely moved. Their whispers traveled to one another like a gently wind, and Cathie could feel the light breeze of them. Steven then took from his pocket the coin that had caused many deaths in only a few hours, and threw it at the man.

“Cathie, I’d like you to meet someone,†as he walked Cathie down and she sat in a lone chair in the dark, slightly eerie room. He was taking his chances again, like that malicious Steven that had faced Saria in the room of flames. He leaned toward her ear, like she had done to him, and whispered softly, both of their heart rates increased again.

“Don’t be afraid. There’s too much to come to be afraid now.â€

Chapter Eight: A New Face and Old Violence

“Alright, alright, break it up. We have work to do.†The man who was leaning against the wall interjected.

“We don’t have much time, it’s already darkening outside. So, Steven, tell me. What’s the story for this one?†he motioned towards Cathie who sat silently in the chair as Steven laid down on the bed gazing into the ceiling.

“This is Princess Cathie, heir to the throne of Louyang, the dominate city of Rune Migard. She’s training to be a Creator. Her family was murdered in the attempt to get that,†he said pointing at the coin in the man’s grasp.

“I see. And do you plan to take her with us? She would most likely be bothersome…†he added, Cathie wondered if he forgot she was there, or if he said it on purpose to tell her how important whatever they were doing was.

“I…don’t know…†he added with a long sigh, he was thinking about that night, and how perfect it was. However, taking her with him, no matter how much he wanted to, would only put her in danger. But leaving her by herself was also putting her in danger.

“How about,†Steven said getting up, and pulled up a chair in front of Cathie, who closed her eyes tight and had her head looking down, trying to fight back tears. “we tell her about us and we’ll see if she can handle it.â€

“Meh. I don’t like the idea much, but we’ll see what happens.â€

So, Steven explained. He explained what he and Vince were. How they were childhood friends, and joined the Rogue’s guild together. “Wait...You’re a rogue…?†Cathie questioned, she, along with everyone else but Jack, thought he was a merchant.

“Yeah, yeah, it’s true. Don’t hate me for it, it’s who I am. It’s who Vince is. It’s just what we do. Stealing is our game.â€

Once Steven had finished, he beckoned Vince to the hallway for a chat.

“Probably talking about ways to leave me here…†Cathie whispered to herself. She couldn’t believe it. In just twenty four hours, she lost her family, she met two rogues, and she had left Louyang for the first time. She lies down upon the bed, and spread her arms wide, like she was a child making a snow angel. Faces swam in and out of her head, Amy, her Father, Jack, Steven, repeat.

She passed out with these thoughts racing through her mind; she had odd twisted dreams, with kisses, death, and plenty of blood. When she came to in was in the middle of the night and the room was completely dark. Neither Steven nor Vince were anywhere in sight. She slid off of the bed and went out into the hallway and left the Inn. She said in a daze “Steven…Vince…?†she was walking around clumsily, bumping into things along her way, when she finally realized what she was doing she was facing a pair of emotionless eyes and scorching hands.

“Where. Is. He.â€

Chapter Nine: Another Encounter

A heavy mist started to build, slowly transforming the scene; it then became stationary, other than twinkling stars above. Saria’s hands were blazing red, Cathie was mesmerized within Saria’s eyes, and not a sound trickled the air. Saria never needed to break the silence, her eyes said all.

“I…†Cathie could see it in Saria’s face, if she refused to disclose Steven’s whereabouts; she was going to be hurt in some way shape or form. But she really didn’t know.

“…don’t know…Honest.†She said looking at her feet, she hated to admit it, but Steven had left her..

After all of that, not even a good-bye…

Saria let out a scream of rage and grabbed the front of Cathie’s shirt with her burning hand.

“Bullshit! You know where he is! Admit it! I have a job to do, so you’re going to tell me what I need to know.†Saria growled in her face.

“No! No I don’t! Stop it!†she beseeched, tears streaming down her face.

No Dad. No Sister. No Friends. Only pain. This is what’s become of me?

“Fine then. If you won’t speak then I’ll ask your sister. Where is she?†Saria said, pushing Cathie down. At this point, Cathie really couldn’t help it. She dropped all her guard and let tears flow from her cheeks, disappearing into the night’s mist.

“She’s…she’s…Jack killed her.†Cathie strained to say, her face was getting blotchy from the tears.

Saria’s hands faded instantly, and the mist became nearly pitch black. All Cathie could see of her was a black outline as she fell to her knees in front of Cathie who was already on the sidewalk.

“What exactly happened…?†Saria said, Cathie could see glittering sparkles on the edge of emotionless eyes.

With much difficulty, Cathie was finally able to explain. By the end, Saria’s hands began to flame again. Though this was hard for her to do, explaining the death of her sister to someone she hardly knows, in the back of her mind she realized it distracted her from hunting down Steven.

“This is…she just started floating…?†Saria’s voice didn’t sound sad, however. It almost sounded worried. As if she knew something…?

“My condolences.†She said, raising herself from the ground. She actually then helped Cathie up, so they were both standing in a nighttime mist, looking around. They could almost tell something was coming, it was too obvious. Just to play safe, however, Cathie lead Saria to the Alberta Inn and explained how she got here and why.

“…I see…†Saria said, sitting down on one of the vacated chairs.

“And then he introduced me to Vince and he said—“ but she was cut off as Saria stood up so suddenly the chair fell over.

“…WAIT. Did you just say VINCE?!†Saria said, this time her whole arms started to flame.

“That BASTARD of a man?!†she was furious, and being in a room full of wooden objects, Cathie backed up against a far away wall.

“Um...yeah...Him and Steven left, I don’t know for where exactly, but they did. Why is he a ‘bastard’, exactly…?†Cathie said, and she could feel the tears stinging her eyes again as she forced herself to face the truth of being alone.

Saria first investigated around the room to assure that Vince or Steven wasn’t here, and then she lifted up her shirt enough so you could see her stomach. There was a massive slash that looked like it came from a switchblade-knife going straight across it.

“This is why Vince hasn’t a right to live.†Saria stated, her whole being had started to steam, and little bits of fire started on the ground.

Cathie was, as you could imagine, horribly confused at this point. She opened her mouth to speak but there was a knock on the door.

Steven!

And indeed it was. But Vince could barely hold him up much longer, he crossed the room in only a few strides, tossing him onto the bed. Vince straightened and looked up, only to see emotionless eyes and a fist full of flames.

Chapter Ten: Power

Cathie, who was backed up against the wall, watched; barely paying attention to the fight that was about to occur, but to the scarcely breathing body that was lying on its side in the bed she had recently vacated. She blinked, and the scene had already changed. Vince had disappeared into thin air, it was now pouring rain inside of the very room they were in, and Saria remained dry, immune to the water. The mass amount of water that was raining down upon her platted her hair to her face so she could barely see, the winds inside the room were picking up as Saria cast a dangerous skill out of pure fury.

“SARIA STOP IT! SOMEONE’S GOING TO GET HURT, DAMMNIT!†Cathie screamed as loud as she possibly could over the still increasing winds but Saria hadn't a care in the world right now. Her killer instinct was overcoming her, a hatred boiled in her blood like nothing she’s ever felt…it pulled her in, it ate away rationality and caution. Cathie was gripping onto a metal bar on the wall but she couldn’t keep it much longer, she was flung all the way across the room and landed on the mattress. She had hit her head hard, and looked up and things started swimming in front of her. The rain padded down around an area that fitted the form of Vince’s body, but there was nothing to be seen…?

Is he using Hide? …Were him and Steven Hiding out in the hallway all along? But that wouldn’t explain why Steven had collapsed and ended up on the…on the…

She had realized she was too weak to get up, but she was lying on a mattress, half of her body on top of Steven. Before the embarrassing thoughts could flow into her mind she was unconscious: the blow to her head was dripping blood with great haste. She heard some shouts, and door slam, pouring rain and roaring winds, and then everything was gone.

She woke up in a bemused state as things slowly formed before her eyes. The back of her head feels like someone just applied a boulders worth of pressure to it and was throbbing terribly, but she could see blurry outlines of people. One of them was standing next to her as she was unconscious, speaking with a short man who was, she remembered, the Inn Keeper. Vince was leaning against the wall that Cathie had previously been backed into and Saria was standing with her arms cross looking out the window. The person standing up next to her spoke, which made her inhale sharply. “Thank you for letting us stay here, we’ll pay for repairs,†Steven spoke to the Inn Keeper, keeping a fake grin to convince the Inn Keeper to leave the room.

After much convincing, the short man left, leaving them all silent. None of them had noticed Cathie was awake, so she pretended, once again, to be sleeping. Listening to their conversation…

Chapter Eleven: Resolve

The four of them were in the cozy little room; anyone that wasn't in the room would just think it was a couple of friends staying for the night. Oh but trust me, it was far more then that.

Steven sat down on edge of the bed in which Cathie was laying in and looked at the ceiling. His heart, his mind, and his wounds all gave him a different feeling that was causing much confusion. Saria started to let out tiny little groans as she held the slash mark on her stomach from many years ago; whilst she looked out the window she looked into the past. Vince was looking out the window from the other side of the room, the sunrise was breath-taking, but he was so exhausted that it didn’t concern him.

The minutes crept on…Cathie kept her eyes shut, her mouth stupidly open, and breathing slow and heavy so the three would remain unaware of her consciousness. Eventually Steven couldn’t take the tension in the air anymore and he chose to speak.

“Saria, you do know why Jack stabbed Amy, right…?†Steven asked her, turning as he spoke to join the two of them in looking out the window. Cathie chose not to breath at this moment.

There was a reason Amy had died...? And I was untold...?

Saria slowly turned her head away from the Sunrise full of memories and faced Steven, and even giving Vince a little look too. She felt guilt ridden after all that Cathie has been through the past few days, but to psychically hurt Cathie made her old grudge to Vince disappear. She let out a huge sigh and then gazed at Cathie “sleepingâ€.

“Yes…unfortunately… But do you really think he’d go that far to that just to activate it?†Saria whispered across the room. Vince merely chuckled

“You would be surprise how far that man is willing to go. But, Steven, do we really have to take her with us? She would only slow us d—" but Steven shot him a sinister look and Vince cut off. He took a deep breath and explained

“Cathie’s safer with us than without us,†but in his mind he wanted to take her with them for a different reason.

“And she’s…she just doesn’t deserve to go through all of this…we have to make it as painless as possible for her.†It was now evident that Saria wasn’t the only one guilt ridden. There was much silence after this, Cathie felt like crying. She was causing them all so much pain, and there was nothing she could do or say without making it obvious she has been listening. Vince, who had been silent most of the time, finally spoke.

“Well I’ve formed my resolve. There’s no doubt that as we speak there’s a war gettin’ ready to start. Chances are whole cities are going to be wiped out, and hundreds of thousands of people are gonna’ die. And if anyone in this room is gonna’ be in those hundreds of thousands of people, we’re gonna’ fight to protect each other. Saria, all those years ago when we had that battle, I know I shouldn’t have betrayed you, I was a backstabbing bastard back then. But there’s too much yet to happen in just the next few months to be lost in the past,†he got up and, surprisingly gave her a hug. She didn’t hug back, but she didn’t force him off either.

“That’s my resolve, you guys with me? Anyways, I’ll keep hold of the coin for now; I don’t even think that Jack knows I’m with you this time, Steven.â€

No one needed to say anything. Vince had spoken the words they all wanted, and needed to hear. The four, but three of them only thought it was three, of them had formed a Resolve. But now it’s time to leave the safety of Alberta.

Chapter Twelve: A Journey to Payon

Cathie had been fighting to keep herself from jumping out of the bed and shouting something, pleading for answers about her sister, but she knew it was best not to. Curiosity has only gotten her in trouble the past few days, might as well not push it anymore. But this time, she did jump out of the bed and scream, although not for the reasons she wanted. She seemed to see more of it just this week than any time in her life. Steven had opened the door to check if anyone had been overhearing their conversation, which he irresponsibly didn’t previous to, but there was no one. Steven shut the door slowly and quietly, just as he was about to shut the door completely numerous things happened. Blood flew through the crack of the door with bullet speed; it splattered on the wall and on Saria’s clothes…and the then fire came. Saria screamed in shock as a large amount of blood splattered all over her, and after having her emotions raging inside of her for the past three hours, she could no longer take it. Her anger exploded from her like a grenade, and quite literally. The whole room was set aflame. Steven ducked around the roaring fire and lifted Cathie off her feet once again, and he jumped out of the window. Saria was standing in the flaming building, the feel of that fire…that magma almost, as it whips around her…it was comforting.

“Goddamnit…she’s got to learn better control of her powers…she probably just killed every innocent person inside of that Inn…†Steven said still holding Cathie close to his chest as he kneeled on the pavement. Cathie was breathing heavily; she had been closest to Saria at the beginning of the Sighttrasher and had been burned badly on her left arm.

“Are you okay…?†Steven hadn’t really thought about her being injured, but now by hearing Cathie’s little groans of pain…But he had just forgotten something much more drastic than an injury.

“…Wait…VINCE?! VINCE WHERE ARE YOU…?!†he looked around outside on the pavement and realized that his best-friend had not yet escaped from the flaming building. He put Cathie down on the side-walk gently and jumped into the building. Cathie was still delusional – she had no idea how she had gotten outside, how the building she had previously been in had just been set aflame, and how the only three people she had left in this world were inside of it…Heck, she felt like she didn’t know anything anymore. Like how as she was thinking those thoughts, that Steven had appeared out of thin air with a burned Vince, and there was a dagger in Vince’s arm. He pulled the blood stained dagger out of his arm and spoke towards Cathie’s thoroughly confused look.

“What? Haven’t you ever seen Snatcher before?†Vince said with a chuckle as he sat down on the pavement next to Cathie watching the burning building. His eyes were metallic, grey but soft…Cathie watched the bright orange light flicker in and out of them as he watched the fire. Steven tried to tend to their burns, because luckily, he was able to nab a Ring of Flame Lord a few weeks ago so his injuries were minor. But Cathie stood up unexpectedly and grabbed a book a small handheld book from her pocket. She read the instructions, concentrated extremely hard, muttered a few words and…there was a dozen red potions rolling around on the sidewalk. Cathie used one on her burns, one on Vince’s burns, and stored the rest.

“Wait…you could’ve done that from the beginning…?†Vince said in amazement as his burns instantly healed.

Cathie didn’t answer, but she knew the response she wanted to speak

I’m not an Alchemist for nothing, you know...

Saria eventually climbed out of the building unharmed and joined the three of them sitting on the sidewalk.

“You do realize, you probably just killed five or so people…†Steven said watching the rubble that was once a sweet little Inn.

“What do you care? You’re a Rogue…you kill people mercilessly day in and day out,†She said in an attempt to defend herself, but she still knows she had done wrongly.

“But a better question, where did that blood come from? Rather…where did this blood come from?†she asked pointing at her stained shirt. The four of them starred at the stain, but none of them really knew…No one spoke as they brainstormed as to where it could’ve come from.

“Ah, right, it’s about time for the guards to come…we should get moving.†Said Vince standing up as if running away from the law was unimportant, well, to him it wasn’t important…

“So…Payon, right Steven? That’s where the drop should occur?†she asked helping Cathie to her feet.

“Mhmm…unless that’s already reached them, if it has then we’re fucked…Oh well. We’ll think of something.†Steven said, speaking in terms that Cathie didn’t understand, but Saria quite clearly understood.

“So…ready Vince?†Steven said, pulling out his bloody dagger.

“Ready.†Vince responded, pulling out his own.

“Cathie…take my hand. And don’t be afraid.†He reached his hand out and she slowly placed it in his.

“Saria, take mine.†Vince said also, reaching out his own and Saria firmly grabbed it.

“So wait..what’s goin—“ Cathie was in midsentence when the two friends stabbed each other, and then there was nothing.

The four of them crashed into the ground and groaned.

“What were you thinking? Idiots…†Saria said getting up and helping Cathie to her feet.

“Well you better get used to it, ‘cause now that we have a healer we’re gonna be using that A LOT.†Steven said getting up and stretching has blood dripped down his chest.

“Cathie, pitch me some would you please?†Vince said, Steven had stabbed him a little deeper than anticipated.

They began to walk; Cathie was clinging to Steven’s arm, frightful at the least. She had never left Louyang, let alone go out in the wild killing mobs. Steven and Vince, were surprisingly, very good evaders. They dodged all of the attacks, escorting the girls past [saria usually setting a few mobs on fire on the way].

After several hours of no one really talking, slaughtering mobs, gaining unanticipated levels, and a clingy Cathie, they found an unexpected mob.

“Well, well, well…you usually don’t find these around here…someone must’ve been fooling around with Dead Branches, retarded bastards.†Vince said, getting in position to attack, Steven and Saria mimicking him. Cathie just stood by the side as the three of them ganged onto a Thanatos Odium, one of the legendary monsters that Cathie had only heard tales about. The Odium crumbled by the combined effort of the three, and they all walked back a few steps where they had set down their equipment with Cathie waiting. Vince lagged behind a bit to see if he could snag a card, but there was no luck. He walked back and looked at his fellows. Their expressions of disbelief made him turn around, and there it was…looking right into his metallic eyes…the keeper of the monster they had just killed...Thanatos... The next few moments in time stood still. They all dared to breath as the Thanatos far beyond their skill level was preparing to attack…The next few moments passed quickly; a flash of a black sword, blood splatter, yelling, and plenty of fire.

Chapter Thirteen: Is it possible?

Chapter Thirteen was where I had stopped because..well.. something happened xD;;...

I started a new story today because I was bored. It's not RO based, same people as last story. A few more people were added in. I only wrote the prolouge ._. I usually write a single chapter at a time x:

Broken Schedule

Based on a true story

Dedication:

Matt, always supporting me, not matter how bad it gets..Love you.

Chrissy, you really are a true friend...you’ll never break my schedule.

Xach, you’ve been through a ton of shit, just like me, I respect you greatly man.

Andreia, you’ve always encouraged my writing, I respect you greatly.

Jack, a great way to get inspiration, that’s for sure!

Vince, thanks for not giving in. Really…I thought you would be like them, but you aren’t.

Miles, you’re one of those few people that I put my trust in. Thanks man, thanks.

Schedules. Everyone has them, rather we’d like to deny it or not. Wether it be waking up in a certain period of time, rather it be when you pass out every evening, we have them. They’re one of the best things we have; easy to make, easy to adjust, flexible, the whole deal! But on the contrary, they have that dreaded, hurtful, down-side. Fixing them. Once you’ve got into that habit of things…even if it’s not always the same, that similar habit of things, it gets hard to make a major adjustment. But when there’s a certain part of your schedule that just breaks away, how can you fix it? How can you fill in that gap of you with something else? How, I ask you? That’s why I’m writing, that’s why I come to tell you all a tale, open your minds, open your imagination, and let the story flow…Maybe I believe if I write it all out…let it all go…I can finally fix my schedule. No, fix my feelings.

I felt like the dialog was way to simple for the events surrounding it.

Ok, this is going to be a sucky review, sorry.

The mix between first and third person views is confusing, so you may want to stick with one, or do one view a lot less next time.

I won't rate on the content, you know, how much I liked or disliked the actual story. Simply because it's not my favorite genre and that would be biased.

Over-all I give it a 6/10.

(If I had considered the story itself, it would of been a 4/10. Don't be mad at me)
