Cure Posted July 15, 2008 Report Posted July 15, 2008 Hell yeah, I've known about The Dark Knight for the longest, since they filmed Batman Begins and The Dark Knight here in Chicago. ;) Batman > All Super Heroes I worked at a local theatre for like a month too, so I got me a bunch of Batman posters the minute they were sent in. 8D I already pre-ordered my tickets!! Midnight showing baby! And iMAX afterwards, chyeahh~ opening night will be boss.
Cure Posted July 19, 2008 Report Posted July 19, 2008 You could probably still go! Just pick up your tickets a few shows before hand and hop in line an hour before the showing starts. A lot of my friends were able to catch good seats today, even though they didn't plan ahead. It's definitely a much better movie than Spiderman, or any other Super Hero movie I've seen so far imo too. :D I have no idea how they're going to top this one off, The Dark Knight pretty much covered all of the bases of a great movie.

psykid Posted August 7, 2008 Report Posted August 7, 2008 I know this is a little late but idc I just saw it 2 days ago. That movie totally redefined Batman. Heath Ledger made an AMAZING joker. I'm not a great fan of Batman but that movie gets 10/10. It was truly magnificant. K I'm done here.

None of that silly tear gas that makes people smile, none of that crap. #2. I guess there really isn't further more i can say about it.

Anyways, if you watched enough of these super hero movies, you know that they never stick 100% to the real deal. So it's not like all of the other times that they've fought. Yes, Heathe Ledger made an awesome Joker, it's sad that there might not be another Joker as good. The Joker in this one seems different from the one I know. I would go into detail, but I wouldn't want to spoil the movie.

And just so everyone knows, he was taking a lethal combination of drugs and they're saying it wasn't actually suicide. Just a bad idea. Anyway, it was brilliant. Heath locked himself into a hotel room to study the role for two months, it's no wonder he actually appeared to be crazy. I heard somewhere that they were thinking of having Johnny Depp replace him in the role of Joke. Interesting. Was good.

UltimateRyuu Posted August 10, 2008 Report Posted August 10, 2008 This is quite possibly the best movie Ever. The plot was outstanding. The cast was pretty good especially Heath Ledger. (R.I.P.) Heath Ledger is amazing idk wtf they are gonna do for the sequel because in my opinion nobody will ever live up to his Role as the Joker. If u havent seen the movie i highly recommend u watch it.
