Sounds like a good idea but just by seeing the actual entry may determine who the applicant is. Well yeah, Ethreal is distinguishable but a lot of people really aren't. If you had seen the last contest without knowing who posted what, you probably wouldn't have been able to distinguish one from the other. If it came down to it I probably would have said Blueberry's was done by Ethreal in that event.

Firstly I think that anonymous entries would not only avoid popularity contests but would also encourage those who may not be well versed in such programs to enter. It would also force a bit more creativity since the only text on said graphics won't be the entrants name. Graphics don't need to have a by line. They don't NEED to have a watermark. If you're good enough I believe people will recognize your style. Not your name. But really, if people want to be pretentious about it and add that little "bywhoever2008" then that's fine. Was just offering ideas so that the next contest didn't suck like the last. :] And I don't mean entries, I think everyone did a great job. I think that it may have gone better if there were more opinions. What? Like.. 15~20 people voted on a server with 300 members? /swt There were ties for each place. It was pretty ridiculous. And the misspelling is my bad. I'm use to typing Ethra which is a friend's name and it just comes out that way. Ethereal. SORRY. /shy
