Oblivion's Storyline With the empire ready to crumble, the gates of Oblivion open and demons march upon the land. You must find the lost heir to the throne and unravel the sinister plo that threatens to destroy all of Tamriel. Shivering Isles(expansion pack) Enter the torn realm of Sheogorath a world where Mania and Dementia regin. Do you have the strenght to surive his trials, to tame a realm fraught with paranoia and despair, and wear the mantle of a God? and I almost forgot, I do think this is the best RPG for Xbox 360

I am currently on my 6 or 7th character, with approx 1k+ hours in total clocked in over the various characters (some I didn't play for long, was just testing a build, like the 2nd to last one I put in 100 hours just getting it lvld and everything, only to decide the build just wasn't working for me. So I switched hehe <3) I really should get it for the PC (I have it for the 360), it would make character creation/lvling prep a lot simpler and more efficient, but I've basically gotten all the tricks I need to lvl quickly on the 360. I just really have 2 reservations: buying all the expansions...again (I've got them all on the xbox), and the annoyance of getting them to work on vista... Anyway, the game is incredibly fun, you can play it time and again and it's pretty fresh. My first run or two I didn't do the main quest either, I know how that is :D It's a pretty deep game, like Morrowind was. Hopefully it won't be too long after Fallout 3 that they get working on V. (Yeah curses on me, old topic, but ES deserves it :P)

Blaze Posted August 2, 2008 Report Posted August 2, 2008 there is also another Expansion in which you have to do a Quest to get the "Crusader" gear which is very good for low levels and during the Shivering Isles unless you have completed the main storyline..
Ryoji Posted August 2, 2008 Report Posted August 2, 2008 Yeah, it's knights of the nine. Later on they included both into one disc and resold it for same price as the original. I've played it myself, beat all the quests, and made nearly every custumable item/spell possible. The main quest gives the worst reward, especially if you beat it after all the other quests. The only good rewards are from shivering isles, knights of the nine, thief guild, and mages guild. Because having on massive god armor, with a mad god's weapon running around with literally a dark god's face on, with custom items that can make you completely immune or invinicible to anything and everything. Is just bitchin..
