arrow_striker Posted June 20, 2008 Report Posted June 20, 2008 Hi I want to know if there is a way the GM team custom a NPC to remove the +10 in equips, there are people that wont buy +10 equips due to the fear of thana users even there are like 20 max anyway my problem is that I refine to +10 my equips and I want em back to +0 to improve my def from vit and not from refined equips anyway I dont know if thats posible (I know the game dont ahve that but if Genesis could do something about like makin some speacial NPC I will be very glad ^^) anyway thanks for your time, =D
geldaz Posted June 20, 2008 Report Posted June 20, 2008 Great Idea , That's one of the diffrences between mvp and pvp - refine rate of the equip. Erm..? Did that make any sense? Either for MvP or for PvP,refine rate is pretty decent. Yeah sure, this is a high-rate so for PvP It's not that great if you have defense or not, because either your opponent has a thanatos (( which is kinda of rare )) or he has a incantation samurai card and will just ignore your def.BUT refine rate isn't pointless. I'd rather have my gears at +10 because you can use 2 skolls and make thanatos card completely pointless, and by having +10 gears, receive less damage. For MvPs,the more defense the better. Exept for 1-2 MvPs which ''pierce'' your ass.
Terminus Posted June 20, 2008 Report Posted June 20, 2008 Thana affects vit defense and not armor defense I think.
Annihilator^^ Posted June 20, 2008 Report Posted June 20, 2008 Thana affects vit defense and not armor defense I think. really??? does it only affects vit def???
Jelzin Posted June 20, 2008 Report Posted June 20, 2008 Formula is ( Vit Def + Def ) / 100. So your Base Def counts too.
arrow_striker Posted June 21, 2008 Author Report Posted June 21, 2008 Geldaz I know armor defense isnt pointless at all but since I use diferent classes (and I guess lots do that) the refine bonus of my equip change (thats something I do I dont know if everyone but my def bonus between classes stacks different =P ) anyway since the armors I really care are Donation/Elite and I switch em between my chars I though it could be a good idea to make em +0 again. And the 2 skolls are a nice way to reduce the vit defense but thats when you can spend lots of vit points in your class... (thats my opinion could be wrong could be right... ^^) Jelzin Really is thath the formula for thana damage?? OMG /gg that would be the reason that some great leader I used to have told me about to keep my defense bonus under 100 so thana wouldn´t increase damage. But if my defense is vit def+ def is = 50, it means that I will take half damage from thana/ice pick users ??? or the ice pick damage formula is different?? ^^ lol I wanna know xD
arrow_striker Posted June 21, 2008 Author Report Posted June 21, 2008 and I want to see more opinions from others ^^ is that something that others will like or its just me?
Jelzin Posted June 21, 2008 Report Posted June 21, 2008 It is ATK * ( Vit Def + Def ) / 100. I forgot to add that.
arrow_striker Posted June 21, 2008 Author Report Posted June 21, 2008 It is ATK * ( Vit Def + Def ) / 100. I forgot to add that. Any way it still reduces tha damage, if ATK=2000 for example and my total defense is 50. Formula will be like... 2000*50/100 so the result of this is 1000 so it half the normal damage that the enemy will do on me if ATK=2000 and my total defense is 150. Formula will do like... 2000*150/100 so the result of this is 3000 so it increase the damage. Am I right? or Im missing something... plis explain
Jelzin Posted June 21, 2008 Report Posted June 21, 2008 Here is the correctet Formula again ( Sorry, I did it wrong twice Lol. I forgot the brackets; you still calculatet it right ) : - ATK * ( (Vit Def + Def) /100) So let's calculate with the following; 150 Def in total. 2000 ATK * ( (120 Vit Def + 30 Def ) / 100) 2000 * 1.5 = 3000 - If your total Def is 50 it's as the following: 2000 ATK * ( (20 Vit Def + 30 Def ) / 100 ) 2000 * 0.5 = 1000 So yes, you're right. :)
Ethereal Posted June 21, 2008 Report Posted June 21, 2008 Personally, I'd have to disagree with this idea. I remember seeing a topic similar to this idea - or the exact same. Also I remember reading it and the only way this could happen is for the NPC to delete your amor and create a new one for you; just like the Valkyrie Helm Exchanger. It takes your helmet and deletes it, then creating a new one just the exact same. So if you wanted something to be +0 again, we'd be taking many hours or days of our time putting in the codes for armors. But although I do like the idea, it wouldn't work out.
arrow_striker Posted June 22, 2008 Author Report Posted June 22, 2008 OMG well that was the answer I was expectin from someone that knows about the design of the game so thanks for answerin (and sorry if someone has post it long time ago =P ) anyway keep up the good work ^^ take care
Ethereal Posted June 23, 2008 Report Posted June 23, 2008 Well, it's okay. You aren't in any trouble or anything, and no problem at all. Enjoy your time in-game. :]
