Shrine Posted June 12, 2008 Report Posted June 12, 2008 Shrine here~ Seems I'm always having trouble with skills... Alright, Forsaken, lets see what kinda answers you have for me today :3. I recently hit level 255 on my Clown, but there's still one skill I have that simply refuses to work. Plus another that seems like it works whenever it wants to. The first is Marionette Control. I use it on my party members (who aren't Bards, Dancers, Or clowns or anything like that btw.) But nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong? It doesn't say "Skill Failed" either. It's just...nothing happens. Second is Tarot Card of Fate. I accidentally used it on myself once in the Ygg field. I didn't see any change at all. It hasn't worked since. And I know it only works on other players. Right? Am I doing something wrong? Cmon, I need my skills people D:

As for Tarot card I've never really had any failures there. It also works on other enemies I believe. also for marionette somtimes you have to shift click them when you choose to marionette Such a glitchy class...

But it doesn't work on players and monsters. And it's like a 40% or so chance that it'll actually cause something. Clowns work on luck. By luck I don't mean LUK. Tarot card is really a skill of chances. Does it say "Skill has failed" after you use it at least?

First skill, already been explained by the above posters (wouldn't like to ruin the e-pride of some people) Tarot Card of Fate worked perfectly for me when I used to have a clown. I'm not entirely sure but I think you need to have a musical instrument equipped for it to work. You can't use it on yourself and, hence, I doubt it's the reason it's not working for you.

Kittie Posted June 12, 2008 Report Posted June 12, 2008 I just logged onto my gypsy to confirm some thing about Tarot Card, so here's a final answer about it: It does work on monsters at a 40% success rate. Of the 60% of the time it does not work, it will not alert you with a "Skill has failed." notification in your chat box. So, really just keep spamming it. And yes, I'd agree with Armani, it is more PVP-oriented but can also be used on monsters.

It work on any target exept yourself...40% chance to summon one Tarot card.All Tarot card does soemthing.Kill instanstly...teleport you and the monster...hit for 1000 damage... stuff like that.Just spam the skill and it will work. About marionnette..well everyone told you already...need to be in party and hold shift.It cannot work on another clown or gypsy tho.(I think)
