Setting up the ventrilo server so you can connect to the server. I'll provide screen shots as to how. First make a name (aka my name is Armani). Click on the 2nd tab under the names and put in the info as the picture is provided. TA-DAH! You are now connected to ventrilo! Can any GM sticky this please?

A: Ventrilo is a server where you can communicate with other people using your own voice... Rules part in the forum? duhh.. :P Step I: Download/Install First of all download Ventrilo Installer Than Install it and make Sure to make a shortcut icon for your desktop Make sure Ventrilo Windows Shows up Step II: Account Creation Now Let's Create an Account name. Don't Worry This Step is Easy and Simple. Follow Those Steps: Step 3: How To Connect Now that you got an Account Lets go To The Next Step: How To Connect There are 3 Things you Going to Need: Hostname or IP, Port Number and insert any Name for The Server so you can Remember what are you connecting to. Hostname or IP: Voice57.hurricanehost.com Port Number: 3925 Step 4: What It Means? Now i will show you what some symbols on ventrilo means... Red Phonetic Means that the person is not talking. Yellow Phonetic Means The Person is Talking but you cannot hear it because or its muted or its in another channel talking. Green Phonetic Means the person is talking and you can clearly hear it Unless his microfone is muted and the green symbol still shows and you can't hear anything. Light Blue + or - (Plus or Minus doesn't mean Anything important so dont worry about it) Means the Channel is free to enter and is not private or protected with a password Red + or - Means the channel is private and has a password protecting it. Step 5: How to Talk You have to press and hold your main "Talk Button" that you selected in "Setup" (In The Next Step i will show you how to work with the Setup) and Make your Phonetic Green and when you unhold your phonetic go back to Red. Step 6: Have Fun Have Fun Talking and Interacting By Voice. :P
